The Devil Is BACK in Florida!

Well, it appears as though Todd “the tool of Satan”  Bentley is back from his recess – refreshed  and ready to continue deceiving the saints. I’m sure that all of the money and attention that his false revivals are stirring up have nothing to do with his hasty return.

Anyway, our brother over at Independent Conservative has it all covered (click on the title to read the artcile):

Evil Returns to Lakeland, Florida. Todd Bentley is Back in Lakeland.

by @ 6:43 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

He returned yesterday and the pulpit TV pimpateers of “God TV” are all giddy, that they can continue begging for money with the name “Todd Bentley” included.

(Video of Todd dong a God TV promo is on their site.)

After taking a short break to rest and be refreshed after nearly 100 days of back-to-back ministry, Todd Bentley has announced he will be back ministering at the Lakeland Outpouring from Friday this week.

Our coverage of the Lakeland Outpouring has continued every night, LIVE on our webstream, and we are now going to resume our LIVE on-air coverage of the Lakeland Outpouring from this Friday 18th July.

Please help us to continue to finance these broadcasts by donating to GOD TV. Click here to donate now.

Obviously they saw all the money leaving Lakeland and Todd is back, to try and keep the scam afloat. And of course his leaving once he was exposed, made the whole thing more obviously a fraudulent. The media reports still exposing the madness for the fraud that it is are still rolling in.

Nuff said…

Fred K.C. Price…Apostle?

So, what are you doing next Friday (July 25th)? If you’re in Los Angeles, why don’t you stop by the “apostolic confirmation” service for Dr. Fred K.C. Price?

Freddy has ravaged the Gospel by touting the “little gods” heresy (among other heresies), extorting tithes taxes from his followers AND teaching others how to steal also, and starting an entire denomination that duplicates his heresy around the globe.

So how is Freddy rewarded for his assault on the Gospel? By being “affirmed” as an “apostle”, of course! Don’t believe me? Take a look at his seal (that makes it official, right?):

Now that you’ve stopped laughing (or crying) – let’s review what the biblically ignorant like to use as their scriptural justification for calling themselves “apostles”:

Ephesians 4:11-12 (New American Standard Bible)

11 And He (V)gave (W)some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as (X)evangelists, and some as pastors and (Y)teachers,

 12 (Z)for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of (AA)the body of Christ;

13 until we all attain to (AB)the unity of the faith, and of the (AC)knowledge of the Son of God, to a (AD)mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the (AE)fullness of Christ.

Paul clearly told the church at Ephesus that Jesus gave “some as apostles…for the equipping of the saints…until we all attain unity of the faith”. So the question now becomes “if we all haven’t attained the unity in the faith that Paul spoke of, isn’t the apostolic office still open?”

If we go Ephesians 2, we see Paul clear write that it was one of the foundational offices (my emphasis in bold):

Ephesians 2:19-22 (New American Standard Bible)

19 So then you are no longer (A)strangers and aliens, but you are (B)fellow citizens with the saints, and are of (C)God’s household,

20 having been (D)built on (E)the foundation of (F)the apostles and prophets, (G)Christ Jesus Himself being the (H)corner stone,

21 (I)in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into (J)a holy temple in the Lord,

22 in whom you also are being (K)built together into a (L)dwelling of God in the Spirit.

So, we see that Paul FIRST STATES that the Apostolic office is a foundational office (in Eph. 2), then he explains the purpose (Eph 4). So does that mean that the work of the ministry is complete? Absolutely not! In fact, as we look at the apostasy that is strangling the church, we need the REAL GOSPEL preached more and more – but that IS NOT a justifiable argument that there are modern day apostles.

In fact, as believers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have the infallible Word of God as a tool to proclaim repentance of sin and salvation unto God through Jesus Christ – does that make ALL OF US apostles?

Further, when you look at the American Heritage Dictionary definition for the word apostle, the first two entries confirm what we know scripture says:

  1. One of a group made up especially of the 12 disciples chosen by Jesus to preach the gospel.
  2. A missionary of the early Christian Church.

Even though Paul wasn’t a disciple, he clearly got his “marching orders” from Christ (Acts 9), thus making him (an official) Apostle. We don’t defend the title of “teacher” as much as we do the title of “apostle”. Why? Because the title “apostle” sounds more religious, and brings to mind a more lofty, authoritative ideal. Also, we have the rightful title of “pastor” and “elder” to successfully convey the job of a shepherd – have those titles become so common that we have to elevate the dialect?

Even further, we don’t see these modern-day “apostles” operating in signs and wonders – specifically because Paul said that they had already occurred (2 Corinthians 12:12)…not that God can’t work miracles and wonders through people, but the TRUE Apostles didn’t engage in parlor tricks or games. Can you imagine Paul or Peter exhorting the sheep to “sow” into a corrupt pyramid scheme in order to “gain favor” – or to “speak those things” in expectation for something from God? NO!

On the contrary, REAL APOSTLES chided the sheep for their desire of earthly gain and reminded them to be content no matter what state they were in (1 Timothy 6:8, Philippians 4:11, 2 Corinthians 12:10, Hebrews 13:5, 1 Timothy 6:6). The pimps who “claim their apostolic mantle” these days only do so to grease their well-oiled money taking machines.

So, if you want to call old Freddy an “apostle”, then go right ahead. In fact, I think I’ll call myself one too – Apostle Speaking Truth…I like the sound of that.

Thinking to myself: Hmmm…maybe I’ll take my “apostolic confirmation” service on the road. For a small “love gift”, I’ll bring my apostolic mantle to a strip mall near you!

The Demon Flees Florida…For Now

***hat tip to Alan at Real Christianity & Independent Conservative***

According to the Canadian blog Bene Dictions Blogs On, it looks like Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley has fled Florida for a while.

Of course he’ll say that he’s “taking a break”, but the reality is that he’s scooped up the money that the deceived were throwing at his feet and he’s grown tired of defending his transparent false revival that has yet to produce any verifiable evidence of true healing.

Now more and more “mainstream media” are starting to cock an eyebrow at this demonic charlatan:

Todd Bentley on ABC’s “Nightline” – Part 2

What will it take for the sheep to see that this guy is a demonic imp – horns sprouting out from his bald tattooed head?

Todd Bently Is A Demonic Liar!

Now that I have your attention, allow me to further expound on my continued righteous indignation and disgust for the false teacher/demon that is Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley.

Bentley has claimed all sorts of “healings” have taken place at his revivals circus sideshows in Florida. He even told Geraldo Rivera that he had “documented proof” (even though no one has been able to confirm his claims). John 8:44 aptly describes Bentley and his charade of religious show – which is fitting (of course) since Bentley is disguising himself as a Christian minister when in fact he is a tool of Satan (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

So Bentley is a liar. Surprise, surprise.

And now, we have direct proof of Bentley’s lies directly from the mouth of a man who came to Bentley for healing in Denton Texas last week:

FIRST-PERSON: Faith & healing — Where’s the evidence?

Posted on Jul 11, 2008 | by William A. Dembski

On July 3, my wife, three children and I attended Bentley’s “impartation service” in Denton, Texas, north of Dallas. Why? We have twin 7-year-old boys, one of whom is autistic (largely nonverbal, still not fully toilet trained, serious developmental delays). Friends urged that we attend the meeting for his miraculous healing.

Call us stubborn, but my wife and I are unimpressed with doctors who see our son’s condition as hopeless. We believe that God still heals and that His means of healing include conventional medicine, alternative medicine, prayer, fasting, love and, yes, miracles. In any case, we haven’t given up on our son’s recovery (we still remember the day when he was developmentally on track). So if God wanted to use Todd Bentley, we were open to it. (click here to read the entire article)

Please read the article in it’s entirety – and pray that the Lord would remove your anger after seeing how many are continually duped into believing that Bentley is an agent of the Lord. Further in the article, the author begins to see the unraveling (my emphasis in bold):

Finally, around 9 p.m. Bentley began to speak. He devoted much of his message to the visions he has received and the miracles he claims have happened in his ministry. Then, almost as an afterthought, he spent a few minutes preaching from the Bible (John 5). In fact, he admitted that he was having us open the Bible simply so that it couldn’t be said that he didn’t preach from the Bible. So much for reverencing the Scriptures.

So this demon decides to “preach” about Jesus’ healing ministry (John 5)? Fortunately, his disdain AND disinterest for the Word of God is further exposing him as an enemy of God.

After preaching, Bentley took the offering. During the offering he asked “How much anointing do you want to receive?” Thus he linked the blessing we should receive with the amount of money we gave.

Yup…further solidifying Bentley’s newly minted degenerate pulpit pimp status to go hand-in-hand with his demonic allegiance and violent parlor tricks. Let’s not forget the classic pulpit pimp mantra: “you gotta pay to play!”

I don’t want to take anything away from this heartbreaking story, so please read it in it’s entirety. After you finish reading, remember that this demonic imp is parading himself around the world as a “faith healer” when in fact he is a bonafide tool of Satan.

Don’t even go to this garbage show out of some odd sense of curiosity. Just avoid this demonic impartation altogether. Cling to the faithful Word of God through Jesus Christ and pray for those who are falling into delusion over this demonic garbage:

2 Timothy 3:13-14 (New American Standard Bible)

13But evil men and impostors (A)will proceed from bad to worse, (B)deceiving and being deceived.

14You, however, (C)continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them

Like I Said…Todd Bentley Is Demonic!

“Many tender-minded Christians fear to sin against love by daring to inquire into anything that comes wearing the cloak of Christianity and breathing the name of Jesus. They dare not examine the credentials of the latest prophet to hit their town lest they be guilty of rejecting something which may be of God. They timidly remember how the Pharisees refused to accept Christ when He came, and they do not want to be caught in the same snare, so they either reserve judgment or shut their eyes and accept everything without question. This is supposed to indicate a high degree of spirituality. But in sober fact it indicates no such thing. It may indeed be evidence of the absence of the Holy Spirit. – AW Tozer

The quote above from noted theologian AW Tozer succinctly describes the unfortunate posture of Christianity today. In the Apostle John’s epistle recalling the fundamentals of our faith (or calling for a return to the basics of Christianity), he wrote:

1 John 4:1-2 (New American Standard Bible)

1(A)Beloved, do not believe every (B)spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because (C)many false prophets have gone out into the world.

 2By this you know the Spirit of God: (D)every spirit that (E)confesses that (F)Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;

Unfortunately, many Christians (and those who erroneously think that they are Christians) simply apply the “if it makes me tingle, then it must be the Holy Spirit” model of interpretation when dealing with these demonic charlatans and their revivals see-through shows.

My post yesterday on Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley pretty much summed up my assessment of Bentley’s ascension from demonic imp to full blown tool of Satan/pulpit pimp. I (along with the entire Christian blogosphere that actually reads and believes the bible) have exposed Todd “the tool of Satan” for some time now, so if you choose to follow him at this point then it is with full knowledge that he IS NOT operating under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

Yet, it’s still good to see more sound biblical study used to refute Todd “the tool of Satan” for those of you who may still be on the fence. Pastor S.E. Ray over at Eternal Path for Seekers of Truth wrote an excellent in-depth article on Bentley – restating some of the fact we’ve already discovered, as well as exposing other interesting facts about “the tool”:

As background information, Todd Bentley is relatively a new Christian with no formal training or experience in the exposition of scripture. His history which includes drugs, criminal activities and he belonged to a sexual molestation activist ring which is well documented and admitted by Todd. Christians realize that a soul can be saved from these things, however he personally claims that he was demon possessed after having been born-again, which poses a problem considering his self-acclaimed position.

So, if you STILL choose to believe a tattooed (after he was saved), demon possessed (afterhe was saved), child molester who assaults people who want his anointing” demonic touch and scares children who DON”T WANT him to touch them, then there’s nothing more to be said to you.

Our hope can ONLY be found in God through Jesus Christ – and his unchanging Word.

Prophecy, Inc.

I’ve written about false prophecy in the past, so this post is merely an illustration of the profit of prophecy.

I present to you the Master Prophet Bishop E. Bernard Jordan of Zoe Ministries in New York:

While the terms major and minor prophets are well known among bible readers, I can’t say that I know what a “master prophet” is.

For you folks here in the ATL, you’ll have a chance to visit Bernie for a personal prophecy. If you can’t make it to the Sheraton, perhaps you can bathe in some of Bernie’s special “prophecy soaps”– although they’ve been removed from the website. Can’t get the soap, try some books or other prophetic items, or just sow a seed (you knew that was coming, didn’t you?).

It’s interesting how Bernie touts himself as a “master prophet”, especially since his exposition of the Gospel seems…well, shaky.

Bernie was a guest on BET’s “Meet The Faith” show last year – specifically as a panelist on their “Black Homophobia & The Church” show.

As the resident “pastor”, Bernie was supposed to clearly exegete how God views the sin of homosexuality and the consequences of not repenting of it.

But, instead of defending the Gospel, Bernie had his hat handed to him by Sheryl Lee Ralph (an actress) and Keith Boykin (a gay activist).

Maybe he should stick to “prophecy”…for profit, because the bishopric may not be his calling (my emphasis in bold):

2 An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

3 not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money.

4 He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity (1 Timothy 3:2-4)

Open Portal To Heaven?

DISCLAIMER: In accordance to Ephesians 6:10-18, please pray before viewing or listening to any of Todd Bentley’s video or audio recordings. The only way to combat the evil of this day is with the unadulterated Word of God.

I found an older video of Todd Bentley describing an “experience” where God shows him an “open portal to heaven”:

Whew. Where do I begin?

  • A pillar of fire that is actually an open portal?
  • Crashing on an “operating table in heaven”?
  • Graphic invasive surgery performed by “angels”?
  • “Stuffed” with little white boxes?
  • God sets an appointment with him for “an hour of power”?
  • “Skiing on the mountain of the Lord”?

I think it’s obvious that Todd Bentley is one strange dude. He begins the video by mentioning the angel with feet like pillars of fire, found in Revelation 10, and later goes on to say how that angel visited him and others in a hotel room.

In the 11th chapter of the 2nd Book of Corinthians, the Apostle Paul found himself defending his apostleship against men who tried to fool the saints by appearing as spirit-filled and knowledgeable about the Lord Jesus Christ as he and his colleagues were. He made an interesting statement while undercutting his impostors (my emphasis in bold):

12But what I am doing I will continue to do, (A)so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting.

13For such men are (B)false apostles, (C)deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

14No wonder, for even (D)Satan disguises himself as an (E)angel of light.

15Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, (F)whose end will be according to their deeds. (2 Corinthians 11:12-15)

We are living in a generation where many Christians don’t read and study the Word of God for themselves, so they are taken in and swayed by things that appear to be of God.

It’s “boring” to sit and hear an exposition on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but boy it sure is more fun to laugh uncontrollably, bark like dogs, and participate in all manner of questionable behavior while being “drunk in the spirit” or “under the unction of the Holy Spirit”.

Please know that Satan can disguise himself to appear “holy”, thus deceiving many believers by making them think they’re worshipping God.

I am of the opinion that Todd Bentley uses emotionalism to “preach” a counterfeit gospel that is not of God. I won’t entertain any comments from Todd Bentley’s defenders, and I’m not going to get into a debate about all of the great work he’s done, the people he’s “healed” (as told on many other blogs) and how “God uses him mightily.

I only post this article to warn the sheep to be careful about who you listen to – and to  use the irrefutable Word of God as the measurement that judges the words of anyone who professes to speak on behalf of the Lord.

I ask mature saints to pray that the saints of the Lord Jesus Christ would read and study the Word of God so that they don’t fall away from the faith, and be fooled and taken in by those who appear to be servants of God.
