It never ceases to amaze me how false teachers use the Word of God as just another product in their bag-o-heresy. I’d respect many of these vipers much more if they owned and operated liquor stores or casinos, and just “preached” on the side.

But alas, this is another example of how you can attempt to “sell Jesus”:

Creflo Dollar sued over devotional text messages

A California businessman sued the Rev. Creflo Dollar, his son Jeremy Dollar and his businesses Wednesday, saying the high-profile preacher misappropriated a business idea they developed together to text devotional messages to followers for $4.99 a month.

Dollar and his son reneged on the deal, took the businessman’s trade secrets and started the “Word on the Go” texting service in 2006, the suit by Devone Lawson of Marina del Rey claims. They are making $50 million a year through subscriptions, Lawson claims.

James Evangelista, Lawson’s Atlanta attorney from the Page Perry law firm, said Dollar also bumped up the price to $5.99 a month.

“The word from the preacher ain’t cheap,” Evangelista said.

The attorney goes on to say:

“Apparently, the Rev. Dollar and the Dollar Ministries do not practice what they preach, unless the prosperity gospel they preach justifies fraud and theft in the attainment of material wealth,” Evangelista said.

Umm, counselor, that’s exactly what the false prosperity gospel justifies – a “quid pro quo god” who must be handsomely paid – through the pulpit pimp, of course – in order to perform on command. It’s hard to read the words of the Apostle Paul and try to recognize what has become of Christ’s Bride today:

2 Corinthians 2:17 (New American Standard Bible)

17For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

The Sin of Partiality

hat tip to Lavrai for the “pre-buzz” on this story

When I was a member of Eddie Long’s churchclub, it never ceased to amaze me at how Eddie collected celebrities and athletes as “sons and daughters”. He loved to parade around with Usher, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Quincy Carter (former NFL quarterback), Brian Jordan (former Atlanta Brave), and various other local celebrities and politicians. These folks always got prime parking, front row seats AND a private meeting with “the bishop” every service – except Montell Jordan (you know…”this is how we do it…”). Jordan would always attend services with his wife and children and sit on the back row, shunning the ushers and Deacons who tried to get him to “come up front”. He would sit quietly and leave right after service was over – no fuss, no entourage, no drama.

I am reminded of those days because ESPN aired a very interesting story (with an accompanying article) exploring the relationships between pulpit pimps and their famous congregants. Specifically, the focus of inquiry was the law of the tithe that mega-pimps throw around the necks of star athletes – and their lust for the star’s cash. Below is the full video presentation in two parts (less than 12 minutes for both videos). The videos and the host commentary pretty much says it all, so there’s no need for a thesis from me. I have written extensively about the tithe and the unbiblical practice of using it to extort followers as well, so this is simply an illustration:

“Pulpit Pimpin’ + Rich Athletes = $$$!”

In all honesty, does any of this surprise you – especially coming from the likes of Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes and Randy White?

I am keenly aware of how the pimps watch their weekly cash grabs like you and I watch our 401K statements (or least how we used to watch them). The pimps are not stupid – blindly ignorant of the Word of God? yes – but smart enough to know that you rob a bank because that’s where all the cash is.

If the vipers read the Word of God as much as they read the Robb Report, they would see (yet again) that they are in direct violation of the Word of God:

James 2:1-9 (New American Standard Bible)

1My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism.

2For if a man comes into your assembly with a gold ring and dressed in fine clothes, and there also comes in a poor man in dirty clothes,

3and you pay special attention to the one who is wearing the fine clothes, and say, “You sit here in a good place,” and you say to the poor man, “You stand over there, or sit down by my footstool,”

4have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil motives?

5Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

6But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?

7Do they not blaspheme the fair name by which you have been called?

8If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF,” you are doing well.

9But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

If you are a member of a mega church and your pastor caters to the rich and famous, how does it feel to know that you can’t crawl on your belly over cut glass to get within spitting distance of your pastor, yet for a little cash you can summon a meeting – even a counseling session– with the mand of gawd?

And poor (literally), pitiful Evander Holyfield. This man has been taken advantage of by Don King AND Creflo Dollar – what a dubious distinction, indeed! Here is a man who has baby mamas and babies across the country (as a self-professed die-hard Christian, mind you) AND HE DOESN’T TAKE CARE OF THEM!…but he sure makes certain that Cashflow Dollar is well-fed and can fly across the country at his leisure.

It’s sad to see a grown man manipulated into giving by being told that everything in his life is in order EXCEPT his tithing – especially since he was fathering children out-of-wedlock during that same period. So if I’m to believe the pimps twisted tithe logic: sow a financial seed and you’ll be blessed with victory; sow your …um…personal seed (out of wedlock) then it doesn’t matter. A REAL pastor would’ve taken Evander to the side and read him directly from the Word of God:

1 Timothy 5:8 (New American Standard Bible)

8But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Stories like this ESPN piece continually throw back the curtains of the mega church pimps so that the sheep can see their REAL intentions.

Be certain, the wolves and vipers will still have their unfair share of apologists – and more stars and athletes are willing to line up to kiss the gold ring of “da bishop” so that God will bless them (i.e. excuse them for the wickedness in their lives). These donations are nothing more than the 2009 version of indulgences.

The Minstrel And The Hoax

hat tip to What Eric Thinks for the link…

Creflo (Cashflow) Dollar is one of the most prolific minstrels in the pulpit today. Cashflow and his ilk couldn’t exegete the Word of God if their lives depended on it. At best, Cashflow is a complete idiot in all things relating to sound biblical teaching. At worse, he’s a false teacher. Neither assessment bodes well for a man who claims to be a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ OR the sheeple who hang on his every false word. Maybe that’s why Cashflow looks so confused holding the bible in the picture above…moving along…

We already know that Cashflow hasn’t taken the time to study what the Word of God says about prosperity and material wealth, but now we know that he doesn’t even study the bible at all while preparing flowery prose to shake the loose change from his followers. Instead, Cashflow has decided that it’s easier to garner allegiance if he scares the hell out of you – or into you…literally.

Not Your Typical Negro has video of Cashflow yesterday, inadvertently preaching on a story he found on the internet. Take a look at the entire video before commenting:

I know, really compelling illustration, right? Except for the fact that the story that Cashflow is “preaching” is an internet hoax that was debunked a long time ago (links below have been upated):

So, Cashflow is a lazy false teacher who doesn’t even take the time to research such a compelling claim. But why?

Could it be that by providing such compelling evidence that somebody actually “found hell”, Cashflow could literally scare the hell INTO his followers?

You don’t want to pledge allegiance to the mand of gawd? YOU’RE GOING TO HELL!

You want to “rob God” by not surrendering your money to Him (through Cashflow, of course)? YOU’RE GOING TO HELL!

You don’t want to join this church and be a faithful son or daughter to this ministry? YOU’RE GOING TO HELL!

This illustration could serve as yet another reason to roll your eyes at Cashflow and run in the opposite direction – were it not for the serious heresy and apostasy that spews from the pie-hole of Carlton “The Heretic” Pearson. Pearson denies that hell is a real place, and he’s taking his demonic roadshow to the airwaves to influence as many people as he can.

Pearson (whom I consider to be demon possessed) is a reprobate who denies eternal damnation as consequence of rebellion from God. Cashflow, who is becoming an unwitting accomplice to Pearson through lack of study, will turn yet more sheep away from God – and into the arms of wicked Carlton Pearson.

Once the sheep feel “duped” about being able to “hear tormented souls from hell”, they may very well doubt that hell exists. Then, they might start believing that “all good people go to heaven – apart from belief in Jesus Christ”.

And Pearson’s demonic work will continue.

Do you think I’m paranoid and “ringing a false alarm” ? Well, many people dismissed these false teachers long ago – “no one will ever believe their lies”…well, these false teachers pack their clubs every week, and the sheep swallow their lies hook, line, and sinker. Destructive heresy has crept in and become prevelant in the church because “astute bible scholars” shrugged off the potential impact.

Make no mistake about it, hell is a real place where the wicked and unbeliever will go when they die (Romans 6:23), and Jesus Himself speaks of eternal damnation in hell (Matthew 3:12; 25:41).Hell is a place of eternal fire, torment, and destruction (Mark 9:44-49, Luke 16:23-24, 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Revelation 14:10-11, Revelation 20:10), and many will find themselves there (Daniel 12:2). Those who find themselves in hell will still have to acknowledge God’s perfect will and their own part in their destruction (Psalms 76:10, Deuteronomy 32:3-5)

The ONLY antidote to eternal damnation is belief upon the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and salvation (John 3:16-18,36) – and this is the entire reason that the Gospel message is preached in the first place. You can’t win people to Christ by scaring the hell into them – you may win some folks to take up seats in your sanctuary, but you won’t keep them there UNLESS you continue to come up with even more dramatics and theatrics to scare them all the more.

Now, Cashflow’s message will forever be known as the one based on a proven lie…just like his false teachings on financial prosperity and the “little gods” heresy.

“Moneeeeeey Cometh…To Me…NOW!

hat tip to Garcelle for pointing me to this video

The man pictured above is Dr. Leroy Thompson, a degenerate con-pimp from Darrow, Louisiana. Rather than waste breath detailing his pimpistry, I’ll begin by showing you a classic video clip of this degenerate in action:

“Money Cometh & The Anointed Money Ritual” (source: ringo4life )

OK…allow me to take a couple of deep breaths before I rip into this fool.

This “mand of gawd” has been stalking the pulpit for 30 years (in fact, one of his prized protoge’s can be seen with him in the video DANCING ON MONEYCreflo Augustus Dollar, a/k/a “Cashflow Dolla”). Like many of those poor misguided sheep lapping up this false teachers heresy, I too did the “money cometh cheer” when I was at Eddie Long’s club back in the day – which makes it even more sickening to see such a sad reminder of the cancer that is infecting Christ’s church today.

In fact, at Eddie’s club, we used to turn in every direction in order to command God to “send money from the East, West, North, and South!” 🙄

I am living proof that you can be delivered from apostates and their heretical lunacy!

Moving along…

I can almost hear this pimps followers whaling and knashing their teeth: “That was an old video, you blaspheming demon from the pit of hell…Dr. Leroy is a mand of gawd who is doing the lawd’s work and helping gawd’s people walk in their divine favor and financial prosperity!”.

Well lemmings, that may be a 10+ year old video – but Pimp Leroy is still fleecing the sheep at a record pace today!

Let us also remember that the prosperity/Word of Faith “gospel” is a false, heretical gospel that decieves the gullible into thinking that God wants them “dripping in ice” (i.e. wearing expensive diamonds and other jewelry) and “pushing big whips dripping in candy paint” (i.e. driving big expensive cars with vibrant colors).

Even worse, dogs like Pimp Leroy, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, and other 2-bit hustlers have the ba…I mean, nerve to publicly declare that we can command “covenant wealth” from God because it is our “divine right” and He is obligated to do it.

What sick, twisted, vile tripe!

There’s no need to dissect the video because the rebukes contained within it are very clear, but I’ve got to note a few things:

  • People are walking up and throwing their hard-earned money at the feet of this liar – AND HE’S WALKING ON IT TO “PUT SOME ANOINTING ON IT”.
  • “Give them the money Lord – send it to them!” shouts the liar
  • This really gets the lemmings excited – so they run up to the “altar” to throw EVEN MORE CASH at the liar (and his protoge’) so that they will be blessed!

Oh, and let’s not forget about how Pimp Leroy bragged about the wealth he throws at his children – and his expensive taste in pets.

Still think Pimp Leroy is “gawd’s man for such a time as this”, lemmings?

Congratulations, Louisiana – I think we found a specimen more vile than “Bishop” Paul Morton and his money-grubbing pimpistry.

Please indulge me for a moment as I remind you of the dangers of this false propserity gospel:

  • The heretical lie fools the sheep into thinking that they can “command” God to bless them, negating God’s dominion over His created. He rules us – we don’t rule Him.
  • Covetousness (which is what these pimps push by making you want material things from God) is idolatry – and every TRUE believer is commanded to avoid such heresy:

Ephesians 5:5-7 (New American Standard Bible)

 7 Therefore do not be (F)partakers with them;

5 For this you know with certainty, that (A)no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom (B)of Christ and God.

6 (C)Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things (D)the wrath of God comes upon (E)the sons of disobedience.

  • God blesses whomever He wants to bless in whatever way He wants to bless them – and most often His blessings ARE NOT MATERIAL WEALTH. You can’t just “speak those things” and expect money and wealth to “manifest in your life” – NOTHING HAPPENS APART FROM GOD’S WILL:

James 4:13-16 (New American Standard Bible)

13 (A)Come now, you who say, “(B)Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.”

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. (C)You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

15 Instead, you ought to say, “(D)If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”

16 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; (E)all such boasting is evil.

  • God’s Word clearly admonishes us to avoid the pursuit of money and earthly gain (Matthew 6:19, 24; Luke 12:15; Hebrews 13:5; 1 Timothy 3:3, 6:10 and so on). Why would God CLEARLY forbid the pursuit of earthly treasures, yet “bless us” with those same treasures because we have “commanded” Him to?

As I see it, those who claim to be Christians AND subscribe to this crap must believe that (1) degenerate pimps like Pimp Leroy and his ilk are “prophets of God”, AND (2) God must be schizophrenic because He simultaneously curses the pursuit of mammon, yet blesses His children with mammon.

I will stand with the Word of God concerning this vile heresy – and YOU SHOULD RUN QUICKLY AWAY FROM ANYONE WHO PUSHES THIS ANTICHRIST MESSAGE…or else you are dangerously close to having 2 Peter 2:17-19 describe your current state.

If you are one who subscribes to and teaches this false, wicked, heretical gospel – REPENT & RETURN TO THE LORD in fear and trembling…or Jude 1:11 will be your fate.

Air Pimp One

Eddie Long has one.

So does “Apostle” K.C. Price, Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, Ken Copeland, Benny Hinn, and many other wolves, apostates, heretics, vipers, pulpit pimps and wannabe’s.

The argument goes something like this:

“You know, Apostle Bishop Right Reverend Prophet Joneshas an anointing on his life – and that anointing isn’t on a convenient flight schedule. Apostle Bishop Right Reverend Prophet Jones has been called by God to minister to the nations, and he needs a ministry tool that will catapult him to the forefront of evangelical outreach, thus the need for a private jet”.

The problem, of course, is that these vipers don’t take their jets to Calcutta, India or the jungles of the Philippines to minister the Gospel to those who either (a) haven’t heard it or (b) have rejected it for Islam or another false gospel.

Nope, these wolves (and their families and “sons and daughters in the ministry”) always end up in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or some other tropical (and tourist-friendly locale) in order to “spread the Gospel” (as long as it doesn’t interfere with sun bathing, surfing, exotic dinner excursions, and the like).

You don’t expect these degenerates to fly Delta (even in the 1st class cabin) when they can load up a plane and go anywhere they want to on a whim, do you?

Our brother bezel333 reports on the latest happenings of the supreme airbone pimp Benny Hinn (Benny was flying in private planes while most of these pimps were still being tooled around in Rolls-Royce’s). It looks like old Benny needs a little more cheddar to upgrade his Air Pimp One – and pay for the rising cost of fuel to minister to the nations blow on people and expect them to fall over:

Attention: Benny Hinn Needs Money for Jet Fuel:

Now come on people, you don’t want old Benny to “plummet from the sky” in an “unsafe aircraft” (i.e. last year’s model), now do you? You know the drill – pay the Prophet Profit and he’ll make sure to put in a good word with God on your behalf.

Benny won’t give you a shout-out to God if you keep him in an “old” corporate jet!

These vipers have escalated the pimp game to a level that is unprecedented. Soon, they’ll be able to shake-you down like any other street-corner hustler instead of wrapping their “game” in religious jargon.

And sadly, the sheep will still throw hard-earned money at their feet.

Hebrews 13:5 (New American Standard Bible)

5Make sure that your character is (A)free from the love of money, (B)being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “(C)I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,”

Instead of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and reminding the sheep that the gift of salvation and right relationship with God through Jesus Christ trumps any financial reward that we can gain, old Benny keeps parroting the tired “you gotta pay to play” line.

And of course, it all starts with paying him.

Pray that Benny Hinn and his ilk repent before the Lord for their heresy before it’s too late for them. Either way, pray that the Lord’s will be done – and that the sheep avoid Benny and crew.

Glory To God – Another Sheep Flees!

While we lament as the church slides into unabashed apostasy, those of us who still pray for the deceived can rejoice when the sheep begin to flee false doctrine.

My brother in Christ Independent Conservative posted a story on his blog about the recent epiphany of youtubber Ringo4LIfe:

A Sign of Hope. Ringo, YouTubber Ringo4Life Proclaims the Prosperity Doctrine is a Scam!

…How we once would warn about a guy using the handle “Ringo”. And it was because he was a member of Creflo Augustus Dollar, Junior’s club and would repeat the false doctrines of Creflo.

Well tonight I feel even more comfort about my YouTube account being suspended than I did before. Because I see that the Lord is removing scales from Ringo’s eyes. He’s now speaking openly against the same man he used to admire, Creflo Dollar.

Click the title of the article to read it in it’s entirety, but I’ve posted the same videos here:

Creflo Dollar: Misinformed The Public

If You Don’t Give Money, You Don’t Get None!

Thank God through Jesus Christ that this former member of Creflo’s club stopped defending him and started defending the Gospel that Creflo twisted (and twists) for selfish gain. Folks this is yet another testament of the power of prayer.

As we expose doctrinal error and deceit at the hands of false teachers, pimps, wolves, and vipers, we should still pray for them (that they repent before the Lord) and their followers (that they repent and flee the false doctrine they hear) – ultimately that the Lord’s will be done.

The “Root” Of The Word Of Faith Heresy

Last week, I posted a few articles on Justin Peters and his ministry in exposing the wicked origins of the WOF heresy that is choking the church today. You can’t rail against Creflo Dollar, Ken and Gloria Copeland, and other vipers of the day without digging a little deeper at the root of their heretical allegiance to the false gospel of health and wealth.

Our brother Escapeetoo over at Pimp Escape has posted an excellent article entitled “The Word of Faith Movement – Who’s Your Great-Granddaddy?”:

While a member in Club Hustle & Flow I heard over and over the importance of “Sonship.” Over and over we’d hear the story of the “family tree”; from Jakes, to Eddie Long to Andre Landers, the pseudo Levitical order was set like cement into the minds of the giving units at “Club Hustle & Flow.”

But one long lost family member was left out in this family tree. One member that is considered the father of the Word of Faith Prosperity Gospel Theology running wild in the church today. That missing branch on the family tree is that of Korv Essek William Kenyon [aka] E. W. Kenyon (1867–1948).

Click on the title above to read the entire article. Like me, that brother fled New Birth South (or “Club Hustle & Flow” as he calls it), and did some research on E.W. Kenyon. He too has seen the root of Kenyon’s wicked metaphysical philosophy up close and personally.

Yet more evidence that the “name it and claim it” heresy is in fact a tenet of metaphysical philosophy, and not the Word of God – no matter how bad these wolves and vipers twist scripture to make it appear biblically sound.
