Happy Birthday, False Prophetess!

Or should I say “false profitess”? Nah…she definitely knows how to make a profit…

The following “invitation” landed in my email box (I guess Eddie Long is selling his old email list to other pimps now):

bynum-birthday-gala

Yup – your favorite false teacher, false prophetess, pulpit pimpstress is turning the big 5-0, and she’s throwing a big honking party to celebrate!

Of course, JB is a phony, so she’s only re-creating what her “spiritual father” I.V. “The Pimp of Houston” Hilliard did to celebrate his wife’s 50th birthday a few years ago (check out the photo’s from the “Gold Carpet”). I guess imitation is a form of flatery – particularly when the person you are imitating threw a few dollars at you to save your butt.

Anyway, so JB’s event boasts:

  • “A sacred ceremony…red carpet affair”.

Huh? How can those two reconcile one another…will we now start seeing red carpets rolled out in front of Eddie’s, Creflo’s and I.V.’s churches clubs, escorting the top tithers to their VIP sections? That “sacred ceremony” line is probably JB’s way of saying that she’s going to roll around on the “threshing floor”, blow the “shofar” to release the breakthrough in your life…oh yeah – and take up an offering.

  • “..as we celebrate Dr. Jaunita Bynum, ‘redifined'”

Redefined? Hmmm…let’s see…JB (where’d she get her doctorate from again? Was it Pimp University?) is still pimping the sheep for money, shining the light of prominence on herself and her business endeavors, and propagating the heretical Word of Faith/Prosperity “gospel”…how is she redefined when she’s doing the same thing she’s always done?

Oh…that’s right – she’s now the “new face of domestic violence” 🙄

I remind you of a post I did last fall when JB was preparing to go onto TV’s “Divorce Cout”

Bynum In Divorce Court

[…] I find it telling, however, that Juanita will go to a TV courtroom to advise divorcing couples, but she begged Tommy to keep his mouth shut and plead guilty for assaulting her – just to keep a lid on their life together.

In case you’re curious, she admitted that she sent the text message to Tommy (towards the end of the video).

Yup, redefined indeed…

  • The pictures of jewels

That assures you that (1) JB will be “dripping in ice” during this bash, (2) flaunting her stolen wealth, and (3) collecting enough money to get even more ice in order to flaunt her stolen wealth even more.

  • “Call Now…Limited Seating”

Well, I’m always looking for a good party, so I called to inquire about tickets to this “glamorous event” for me and Mrs. Speaking Truth. I was told that tickets are still available (imagine that), and that we could party within spitting distance of the false prophetess/Jezebel for only $200…PER PERSON!

I tried to negotiate:

“C’mon…the economy is really bad, and we’re hoping that the prophetess will speak favor over us for this year. How about $100 and a love offering of $25 during the event?”

Nope. $200 firm, no exceptions.

Oh, and they take credit cards over the phone too, so you could charge the event now and pay MasterCard back the $450 you owe (after interest and minimum payments) when the economy comes roaring back once our new King settles in.

Juanita Bynum is a false teacher/false prophet of the highest order – and SHE SHOULD BE AVOIDED BY ALL WHO CLAIM THE NAME OF THE LORD until she repents of her evil deeds and turns to the Lord. Until then, she’ll continue to embody Titus 1:16.

But hey, you can’t knock her marketing hustle…Pimp Eddie Long would be so proud 🙄

I heard about this a few weeks ago. I can guarantee you that when I turn 50 my celebration will not be nearly as elaborate.

I sincerely did not know that IV Hilliard was considered one of her spiritual fathers. When she began to teach that nonsense I would check her out on TBN when she would host. I do not remember the timeframe but at some point within maybe 5 or more times that she hosted the program I counted ten men and women that she introduced as her spiritual fathers and mothers. She is in the air telling people that they MUST have them. Basically you could not have a walk with God on your own without them. I guess the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not enough for us. It was a new package of the extremes of the shepherding movement where you could not wipe your behind without asking your overseer.

I also had problems with the threshing floor message. We are not in the OT when the present only came on people. We have been recreated in our inner man. We have direct access to God when we reach out to him. That can happen anywhere at any time. When they were going through their divorce and she asked people for I think $20,000 to replace the threshing floor because she had to have it to communicate with God I absolutely screamed.

Needless to say I do not agree with her teachings at all. I just pointed out two of many.

Great post! Thanks for taking her to task. What an abomination.

  3. 5 Cop January 22, 2009 at 6:55 pm

Hey, is Thomas Weeks(THE SECOND) going to be there?

Should I bring my $5,000 dollar pen and pencil set?

Is she going to breakdance on the threshing floor?

Did she send a special invitation to the I.R.S?

    Should I wear my “I am a bulldog” T-shirt?

Superbowl, birthday party, Superbowl, birthday party. Whatever will I do?

  4. 6 CiCi January 22, 2009 at 7:23 pm

    ST…..

Come on now…..why would you link the President to this foolishness? I mean, really…… that’s reaching quite a bit.

We all know that you don’t like him….but I really don’t think that’s fair.

  5. 7 gcmwatch January 22, 2009 at 8:02 pm

This is no lie, IST. A friend of mine called me early this week and said he went to a church function in Macon where the profitess was. And she was selling tickets to the grand spiritual affair for only $100!

    Now, its $200???

My friend said she told them she was going to “release something into the air” at the par-tay.

We both howled over this newest scheme. He said that he and another person were the only ones who didnt run up with a 100 bucks to get in on the deal.

OK Cop as a self-ordained apostle, I have the apostolic authority (OK – it’s really a twisted sense of humor) to address your questions:

Hey, is Thomas Weeks(THE SECOND) going to be there?

No – he’s busy trying to figure out a way to beat up find another wife. He get’s a absentee pass…

Should I bring my $5,000 dollar pen and pencil set?

Of course! You’ll need that pen and pencil set in order to write checks to the prophetess womand of gawd. In fact, if you dare use that pen to do anything other than write a big check to the prophetess, then your crops will not yield a harvest – oh, and you’ll get a ringworm.

If you do write a big check to the prophetess but you use a dreaded “Bic” pen (especially since she expressly forbid the use of such a low-grade writing utensil) your crops will still not yield a harvest – and that ringworm will be multiplied!

Is she going to breakdance on the threshing floor?

Yes – for an extra $200K! She still needs that to build her “special house (McMansion) of prayer”.

Did she send a special invitation to the I.R.S?

No need – they’re still busy looking in Creflo, Eddie’s, Benny’s, Ken & Gloria’s pockets.

    Should I wear my “I am a bulldog” T-shirt?

Bow wow wow yippee yo yippee yay, brother!

There – I have dispensed my apostolic wisdom for the day

“so let it be writen…so let it be done…”

  7. 9 Pamela January 22, 2009 at 8:21 pm

JB publicly supported Obama. When she decided that she was going to be the voice of domestic violence she went to CA during one of his campaign stops. At that time she stated that she supported Obama’s race for president.

  8. 10 speaking truth January 22, 2009 at 8:37 pm

Come on now…..why would you link the President to this foolishness? I mean, really…… that’s reaching quite a bit.

We all know that you don’t like him….but I really don’t think that’s fair.

CiCi – I included the president in this foolishness because the masses believe that he will right everything that is wrong in the world, including the financial markets – so it’s not far-fetched for me to state that many believe that Obama will calm this economic turbulence with the wave of his hand.

And for the 1,000th time (ok, the 4th or 5th time) I do not dislike Obama the person (per se) – I DO dislike his liberal and socialist policies…oh, and his faux Christianity.

C’mon CiCi – lighten up a bit. Both Obama (and Bynum for that matter) are adults – and they have sought the public arena. They can take the heat…

gcmwatch – $100 bucks…really? That woman on the phone was unwilling to budge by even $1. I guess I’m a week late and $100 short. Oh well, I guess I’ll be home watching “Wife Swap” and “Super Nanny” instead of kicking with Jezebel and her lemmings.

  9. 11 hiscrivener January 23, 2009 at 4:27 am

First, let me grab the tissue to wipe my tears… of laughter over this poppycock.

Bynum, the heralded “new face of domestic violence”, is seriously trying to not only remake her career (because honestly, is she trained to do anything else than be a huckster), but also regain the cash she lost with that wonderful marriage of hers.

Then again, it’s highly difficult to tell JB she’s off her rocker when she can fill a house of Gawd to the rafters (about 16,000 lame-brained peeps) and tell them, “At the (GASP) count of three (GASP), we are going honor Gawd (GASP) with a shower (GASP)… oh help me somebody… (GASP) a shower of praise. Glorayyyyyyyy!”

And then, people were throwing dollar bills like they were used tissue out their car window. True story.

The harrowing thing was she was in her mid-30s when that happened. Looks like the pyramid schemes have escalated, huh?

  10. 12 speaking truth January 23, 2009 at 10:58 am

So, hisscrivner – are you telling me that Bynum had folks “making it rain” in the church?

Wow…the pulpit pimps really have the church resembling a Playa’s Ball 😐

  11. 13 hiscrivener January 23, 2009 at 12:24 pm

Yes, I suppose so (genius reference). Lookie there. She’s a pioneer, a trendsetter. Now, she just needs an 80s video game as a nickname. What about “Q-bert”? Too obscure?

  12. 14 Cop January 23, 2009 at 1:08 pm

Dont tell me that Junie B had church folks “MAKING IT RAIN”!!!

Did she get that from the Nasty Kitty strip club or did the strip club get it from her?

  13. 15 LNP January 23, 2009 at 1:30 pm

JB is facing the same thing that most pulpit pimps are. She is running out of money so it is time to start hustling again. She was on Praise 97.5 a few weeks ago and has started having services again down in Henry County. One of her “spiritual sons” has a church there. It is just another gimmick to get people to follow her again. Unfortunately she has a lot of groupies and people will want to attend her birthday party. We have to pray that they see her for what she really is!

  14. 16 lavrai January 23, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Hi, ST. This is awful and tacky. If I didn’t know who this woman claimed to be, I would not know that this celebration had anything to do with a servant of the LORD. She better turn back before the LORD grows impatient. HE won’t wait on us all day.

  15. 17 hiscrivener January 23, 2009 at 2:17 pm

So true. Whether it’s her faux-socialite wedding, to this “holding back the years” B-day bash, or even making it rain… these surreptitious marketing techniques (all in the name of Gawd, no less) are a sore sight to behold.

  16. 18 gcmwatch January 23, 2009 at 2:27 pm

LNP, the same thing crossed my mind.
Bynum has trumped with all the big tyme pimp players: Jakes, Hinn, Hagee, Parsley, TBN, et al.

Because of her brazen lies and evil intentions, those former lovers have played her and she is like a hooker with no pimp now.

That means she has to go and do street hustling ie small local churches with guerilla tactics ie promising to “release something into the atmosphere” at her partay. Pure witchcraft.

    Watch out, she cometh.

  17. 19 EnochWalked January 23, 2009 at 3:59 pm

    Praise the LORD!

Do any of you think this woman ever was at one time or another true to the faith? I have talked to ministers who knew her before she became “Big time” and on on TV! Something happens to these preachers when they get money, fame, and on TV! It goes straight to their head!

There is a old saying we used to say, NO SHAME IN HER GAME! This woman has no shame in her game! She needs to go away! She is in trouble with the LORD!

    Y’all have a blessed weekend.

  18. 20 Brian Foulks January 23, 2009 at 4:50 pm

you have to be kidding me…this is a joke right.

  19. 21 Michael Pharr January 23, 2009 at 5:41 pm

Years ago, I thought Juanita was so anointed (I swear, I can’t stand to hear people using that word now, figuratively I can feel a blood vessel pop in my head). I couldn’t wait to see her on TBN, whew! I even went to her & her ex-hubby’s TEACH ME HOW TO LOVE YOU CONFERENCE when it came to Charlotte a few years ago. But thank the Lord for the internet and how these sharks are being exposed and with youtube you can see these clowns caught spewing their nonsense. God and His providence are so good and merciful.

I wonder how much money she made from people wanting to get her “anointing” (there goes another blood vessel) by selling her thoughts from her diary. I also wonder if she’s mentally ill. If I’m not mistaken I do remember her saying that “she was healed from a mental illness” or something to that affect. And if so, maybe her erractic mood swings can be explained or maybe she was given over to a reprobate mind and we are watching it manifest before our eyes.

  20. 22 Charley January 24, 2009 at 4:47 pm

I don’t expect this comment to see the light of day.

But aren’t most of JB’s followers “Black” or “Afro” or “Afro-American”? So aren’t most of this community totally falling for JB’s crap, much like dogs would lap up their own vomit or like this community has been expecting the Democratic Party to “t’ave” them for the past 50 years? Is this community cursed with a curse of not being capable of independent thought…and how would this be JB’s fault for simply recognizing it and exploiting it to her own advantage?

    Just asking.

  21. 23 Neil January 24, 2009 at 5:33 pm

Charley, I’m not sure your assessment plays out. When white people foolishly follow false white teachers I write it off to their foolishness, not their skin color or community.

But does Juanita exploit her followers? Absolutely and shamefully.

  22. 24 Michael Pharr January 24, 2009 at 5:54 pm

    Charley,

Well JB is at fault because she calls herself a minister of the gospel and handles it wrecklessly w/o any shame. Also, it’s safe to say that people that are poorer are the ones that are funding the state educational system by way of lotteries hoping to hit it big. So it translate over to the church, those that are struggling financially use there “seed” in the game of spiritual lottery. And even in the midst of all of this no one is telling them to manage their money.

    Michael.

  23. 25 speaking truth January 24, 2009 at 6:34 pm

    Charley,

In addition to being bliss, ignorance is also color blind. This post is not about blacks allegiance to government or any political party – this is about a pimp exploiting people. Period.

It’s true that JB is taken advantage of people, but she’s not alone Ken and Gloria Copeland, Rod Parsely, Benny Hinn, Paula White, Cheryl Brady, and all other manner of white heretic do the very same thing – and rest assured that there are also lily white faces tossing money at these vipers when they blow into town (take a look at a Benny Hinn “revival” and see who he’s blowing over with the “holy spirit”…it’s white folks by 10 to 1).

So there – your comment actually did see the light of day.

  24. 26 Kyle January 24, 2009 at 6:52 pm

    ST,

You forgot Joel Osteen! You can’t get more white and folksy than him. LOL! But seriously the Pimps target who they will. As for JB she is doing what she knows best and that is to Pimp the sheeple by taking advantage of having a big 50 birthday bash with YOU(sheeple) paying the tab.

    And let us not forget:

    -Paul Crouch
    -Steve Munsey
    -Marilyn hickey
    -Jesse Duplantis

    Great Marketing!

    Bad Theology!

    Kyle

  25. 27 escapeetoo January 24, 2009 at 7:30 pm

    Charley,

As a point of clarification, “Blacks” or “African Americans” have not been called “Afro” or “Afro-American” for nearly three decades. Your statement is not has bad as calling a person of Asian American descent “Oriental”. However, I felt the need to comment.

The heresy and apostasy of this day is not isolated to one ethnic or socioeconomic group. You have White pimps, Black pimps, Asian pimps Korean and British pimps.

While I do not have any empirical data to support my theory, I will however assert that African American victims of church heresy and pulpit “pimpistry” tend to feel the impacts of this mess more than other groups. A lot of these pimps set up shop in places where hope and economic opportunity is sparse. Pimps like JB feed into this despair and peddle their Word of Faith garbages. They promise blessing when the “mand or woman” of God is blessed by you. I can’t tell you how many times I heard how my life and business would be blessed if I’d just “sow” a seed imto the mand of Gawd!I poured a lot of money into a man. I should have gave him a bag of sunflower seeds.

  26. 28 gcmwatch January 24, 2009 at 8:54 pm

“The heresy and apostasy of this day is not isolated to one ethnic or socioeconomic group. You have White pimps, Black pimps, Asian pimps Korean and British pimps.”

dont forget the gay ones have gotten in on the act, too!

  27. 29 holland January 24, 2009 at 10:43 pm

Well, they say people get the government they deserve and i think it’s fairly safe to say people get the pastor they deserve in that point of their lives. I think many of the people who are involved in such churches are in it for themselves as much as for God.

If they actually read the bible and fix their eyes on God they would find the true gospel. I know when i walked in error, when i look back, i can honestly say i was just as much a selfseeker as a Godseeker.

I trust God that He will call out those who are *genuinly* in error. Called out people often have a much sharper discernment after such experience, which is good. With the great deception coming it may be good that many sheep were deceived once just not to get deceived again
.As for JB, she is as precious in the eyes of God as we are which is all the more tragic knowing where she’s heading if not repenting.

  28. 30 KenyaChristian January 25, 2009 at 1:13 pm

    Hi,

I’m not a fan of Junie B “The Profitess”, and in fact have been deeply suspicious of her treachings since 2005 when she first came to Kenya. However, just for some clarification I wanted to ask IST what he means when he says she has a “Jezebel Spirit” – does he mean that in reference to Rev 2:20, where the Angel warned the church in Thyatira about another false prophet?

  29. 31 KenyaChristian January 25, 2009 at 1:28 pm

What made me deeply suspicious about her was that for a month or so before she came here, there was a lot of buzz about her in the media, with many of our local pastors (or is it pimps/profiteers?) claiming she was a very anointed woman of God, had accomplished great things for God (basically giving her some sort of celebrity status). When I attended her last meeting, she attempted to prophesy, especially on the political situation in Kenya then, but her attempt seemed like one who had just read the newspapers and was attempting a politcal forecast based on information from the news, not from God….that and many other things I’ve observed since then have made me very way..

  30. 32 KenyaChristian January 25, 2009 at 1:36 pm

    * very wary…

  31. 33 speaking truth January 25, 2009 at 2:08 pm

    KenyaChristian

I am indeed referring to Revelation 2:19-21 (New American Standard Bible):

19′(A)I know your deeds, and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first.

20’But (B)I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman (C)Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they (D)commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

21′(E)I gave her time to repent, and she (F)does not want to repent of her immorality.

JB also has a Jezebel spirit because she emasculates men and teachers others to do so (unless, of course they are giving her money or reverencing her).

  32. 34 KenyaChristian January 25, 2009 at 3:28 pm

    IST,

If you read the rest of that chapter there’s further warning given to the church of Thyatira of the consequences of following a false prophet. Many believers will be led astray from a pure and sincere faith and suffer great harm, hence the need to warn many Juanita’s followers/admirers of what will happen.

  33. 35 C'Lah December 7, 2009 at 5:04 pm

This would be comical if it wasn’t so serious. Juanita is in a very dangerous place. She has left her first love.

Solomon, the wisest and riches man ever – after obtaining all he desired, concluded that all is vanity and that it is best to obey and fear God.

  34. 36 Esther Casimere February 8, 2010 at 12:23 am

I would admonish you to be very careful who you put your mouth on. These people could be false prophets, but then again, they could very well be God’s annointed. All of us are STRIVING to
be like him, but we are still in the flesh and subject to the
failures of being in the flesh, with the spiritual battle going
on, between our flesh and our spirit. If you have not had any
failures since you accepted Christ I would like to meet you!
That would make you greater than Paul, or King David! Do you remember King David who said, “I would not dare touch
God’s annointed.” David was so afraid of God’s judgement, that he
would not touch Saul, even after he thought God had lifted his annointing from him! Even if you THINK they are wrong, you should
be more fearful of God’s repayment, and not dare open your
mouth against them. The bible says touch NOT my annointed, and
do my prophets NO harm. You should keep your mouth off of them,
JUST IN CASE they are God’s annointed. The price you could pay
is higher than than you would want. The bible says it would be better for you, if someone tied a cement block around your neck and just dropped you to the bottom of the sea…..

    • 37 speaking truth February 8, 2010 at 1:32 pm

Esther – I’ll provide a succinct reply to your comment because I trust that the juxtaposition between a REAL minister and False Profit-tess JBII is painfully evident to everyone (except you):

      1) I admonish you to read the Word of God in context to understand the full exegesis of the “touch not my anointed” phrase (and it’s common misuse) – which is the basis of your entire comment.

      2) Can you honestly examine Jaunita Bynum’s “ministry” (or even her life) and still say (with a straight face) that she is “anointed” of God? Is it because she belittles the poor and brags about owning a $5,000 pen? Or how about her Jezebel spirit – constantly emasculating men? Maybe it’s her allegaince to the heretical false prosperity gospel? Perhaps her bizarre false prohpecies (for profit, of course)? There’s nothing about this woman that equates to “anointing”.

If you want to defend this wolfette, then feel free to do so on another blog (perhaps hers), but I’ll continue to warn the sheep to avoid her (and those like her) at all cost.
