Todd Bently Is A Demonic Liar!

Now that I have your attention, allow me to further expound on my continued righteous indignation and disgust for the false teacher/demon that is Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley.

Bentley has claimed all sorts of “healings” have taken place at his revivals circus sideshows in Florida. He even told Geraldo Rivera that he had “documented proof” (even though no one has been able to confirm his claims). John 8:44 aptly describes Bentley and his charade of religious show – which is fitting (of course) since Bentley is disguising himself as a Christian minister when in fact he is a tool of Satan (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

So Bentley is a liar. Surprise, surprise.

And now, we have direct proof of Bentley’s lies directly from the mouth of a man who came to Bentley for healing in Denton Texas last week:

FIRST-PERSON: Faith & healing — Where’s the evidence?

Posted on Jul 11, 2008 | by William A. Dembski

On July 3, my wife, three children and I attended Bentley’s “impartation service” in Denton, Texas, north of Dallas. Why? We have twin 7-year-old boys, one of whom is autistic (largely nonverbal, still not fully toilet trained, serious developmental delays). Friends urged that we attend the meeting for his miraculous healing.

Call us stubborn, but my wife and I are unimpressed with doctors who see our son’s condition as hopeless. We believe that God still heals and that His means of healing include conventional medicine, alternative medicine, prayer, fasting, love and, yes, miracles. In any case, we haven’t given up on our son’s recovery (we still remember the day when he was developmentally on track). So if God wanted to use Todd Bentley, we were open to it. (click here to read the entire article)

Please read the article in it’s entirety – and pray that the Lord would remove your anger after seeing how many are continually duped into believing that Bentley is an agent of the Lord. Further in the article, the author begins to see the unraveling (my emphasis in bold):

Finally, around 9 p.m. Bentley began to speak. He devoted much of his message to the visions he has received and the miracles he claims have happened in his ministry. Then, almost as an afterthought, he spent a few minutes preaching from the Bible (John 5). In fact, he admitted that he was having us open the Bible simply so that it couldn’t be said that he didn’t preach from the Bible. So much for reverencing the Scriptures.

So this demon decides to “preach” about Jesus’ healing ministry (John 5)? Fortunately, his disdain AND disinterest for the Word of God is further exposing him as an enemy of God.

After preaching, Bentley took the offering. During the offering he asked “How much anointing do you want to receive?” Thus he linked the blessing we should receive with the amount of money we gave.

Yup…further solidifying Bentley’s newly minted degenerate pulpit pimp status to go hand-in-hand with his demonic allegiance and violent parlor tricks. Let’s not forget the classic pulpit pimp mantra: “you gotta pay to play!”

I don’t want to take anything away from this heartbreaking story, so please read it in it’s entirety. After you finish reading, remember that this demonic imp is parading himself around the world as a “faith healer” when in fact he is a bonafide tool of Satan.

Don’t even go to this garbage show out of some odd sense of curiosity. Just avoid this demonic impartation altogether. Cling to the faithful Word of God through Jesus Christ and pray for those who are falling into delusion over this demonic garbage:

2 Timothy 3:13-14 (New American Standard Bible)

13But evil men and impostors (A)will proceed from bad to worse, (B)deceiving and being deceived.

14You, however, (C)continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them

Well, Todd is just doing what his father does. He is just a charleton using the Bible as a cover for the manifestation of his sinful flesh. I’m glad you shared this, it just proves that he holds NO esteem for the Word of God or those who are genuinely seeking God. All he wants is money! Sorta reminds me of the slave girl in Acts 16 who had a spirit of divination and her owners were making a ton off her.

So many are drawn in by supposed “miracles”… it’s always been that way and it will continue to be that way, it’s part of human nature. Obviously God is doing something even in the midst of all this apparent nonsense. We must pray that God would stop this madman in his tracks, and that God would even save His people who might be in caught up in it.

    Soli Deo Gloria!

Todd Bentley is a tool alright! Miracles are never proof of the work of God in anyone’s life or ministry, yet some Charismatics will go dumb over anyone who does miracles…

    Doug & Roger,

I firmly believe that Bentley wouldn’t be nearly as effective in this demonic circus if his victims hadn’t already been “softened up” by the various pulpit pimps and false teachers that have poisened the landscape for the last 30+ years.

If we weren’t so used to being told that we could “speak healing into our bodies” and that God wanted us “healthy, wealthy, and wise”, then we wouldn’t seek anything in this life that He didn’t sanction.

As cruel as it sounds – it is God’s will that we go through tribulations, some prosper (wealth, health, etc) and others don’t, but it’s all for His glory. When we start chasing after demons who promise to “heal us” then we are playing the role of “little gods” – which is the lie that the false teachers and pulpit pimps told us in the first place.

    It’s a vicious, ungodly cycle.

When teaching like this is extant, one shouldn’t be surprised:

To quote the Scriptures, these men sowed and Bentley reaped the harvest…until the media caught up with him

  5. 5 speaking truth July 15, 2008 at 11:48 am

Wow Doug, what an eye opening video…thanks for that!

Yup, this pastor is continuing to deceive the sheep by (either unknowingly or maliciously) steering them to demonic charlatan’s like Bently because he claims to “heal”.

The devil is cunning – and the sheep are still falling for it…

Last I heard Bentley was coming back after a short respite. I happen to know for a fact that he is a violent child molester who used a baseball bat on a little boy to keep him from coming forward with the vile things Bentley did to him. The one case that’s been made public is only one of countless children he’s sexually assaulted, but many parents were afraid to come forward because of physical intimidation by Bentley. Now he tells the parents of terminally ill children to leave them alone with him so he can “do his work” in private. Is there any way we can contact the Florida authorities to at least keep this demon on a short leash?

Xray evidence of broken arm healed.

In the end we all believe what we want to believe.

As I’ve said during the many posts I’ve written on Bentley – I believe that he is a tool of Satan that has disguised himself and is fooling the sheep into thinking that he is a man of God. Simply type his name in the search bar of this blog to find all of the scriptural admonishments you need.

The Xray evidence you reference above is suspect (at best) and an outright lie (at worse) – just like Bentley is. You’ve already been addressed by my brother Independent Conservative, so I see no need to rehash that over here.

I STILL believe that Bentley is a tool of Satan.

  9. 9 Roger Servin July 21, 2008 at 3:16 pm

Even if the X-Ray were true, it does nothing for Bentley’s credibility. It’s not Bentley who heals, but God Himself.

Bentley is a charleton and a false prophet Timothy. Read the Bible and see for yourself.

Two Questions: Is Satan Stronger than God? Who are we praying to, Todd, or Our Father in Heaven? The answers to those questions will strike fear in your heart, or bring peace in light of God’s word. Can intercept the power of God and replace it with a counterfeit. Remember Moses, Aaron, and the Pharaoh’s Magii. Both could do the same miracle, but in the end, the Kingdom of God eats the Kingdom of Darkness. Be not afraid of the Devil to the extent that you lose your faith in God.
If we are praying to God, then what reason do we have to fear man, or devil?
    Luke 11:5-54
9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Can Satan intercept a prayer, and replace God’s answer with a counterfeit?
    Luke 11:47
47Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
    Luke 11:52-54
52Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
53And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
54Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.
I see this all as a heart issue. Who are we praying to? Are we seeking truth? Are we acting out of love, or out of fear?
Todd Bentley will answer to God, just like I will, just like you will. But if we go to a service and regardless of who is speaking we are compelled to seek God’s face, repent, turn from our sin, and run deeper into the arms of our loving Father then nothing can separate us from the love of God.

typo in a sentence in my previous post: This sentence “Can intercept the power of God and replace it with a counterfeit.”should read “Can Satan intercept the power of God and replace it with a counterfeit?”

I appreciate your (overall) civil tone in commenting on this blog – a departure from most (if not all) of Bentley’s apologists. In fact, that’s the only reason I approve your comments in the first place (not that I’m calling you a Bentley apologist – per se).

That said – there’s nothing that you can say that will move me from my biblical stance that Todd Bentley is a false teacher, false prophet, and disciple of the devil – as forewarned by Jesus and the Apostles. As you mentioned previously, we all choose to believe what we want – and that is what I believe. Commenting on on other blogs won’t convince me either.

You said (my emphasis in bold):

But if we go to a service and regardless of who is speaking we are compelled to seek God’s face, repent, turn from our sin, and run deeper into the arms of our loving Father then nothing can separate us from the love of God

I disagree – particularly if the “someone who is speaking” is not of God. In fact, the bible is full of admonitions to flee false teaching, false doctrine, and those who falsely claim that they’re working in God’s name. So we shouldn’t sit and listen to anyone who is a worker of darkness.

So that’s it – this issue is settled, based on God’s Word. I pray that the Holy Spirit would guide you into all truth, and that you stop giving any deference to Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley.

  13. 13 Timothy Luce July 23, 2008 at 11:37 am

Thanks I do appreciate it. To be honest I have had my doubts about Todd Bentley. Ultimately though, I want truth, and have spent time in prayer, and weighing the evidence. I just tire of the opinions of people that are laced with a little word here, and there. (not saying that you are doing that). Where I am now with all of this is. None of us have “all truth” nor do I believe that any will this side of eternity because we now know only in part. We all need to study to show our selves approved unto God.

I am not advocating at all that we listen to false teaching. I see how the way I worded my statement above could be taken that way.

So for the allegations that Todd Bentley is completely false, I find that a logical stretch, and a scriptural stretch. I am sure there are things that you and I both have not yet learned. If someone were to call you or I on something that we believe that is not true, and then make the logical jump that we are “tools of Satan” etc. It just seems like arrogance and pride. I have looked for evidence to settle the issue once and for all for me, and have not yet seen it in light of scripture.

I would love for someone to find a recording of Him denying Jesus came in the Flesh and post it as a link in a comment below. I would also ask if anyone has a recording of him acknowledging that Jesus came in the flesh to post it in a comment below. To take the Word literally if he confesses Jesus came in the flesh it will settle once and for all whether he is of God, or not. though it will not serve to say that all his doctrine is correct.

    1 John 4:1-3
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Anyhow, thank you for engaging with me. Ultimately I am seeking only God’s truth.

    Keep the faith!

I use the term “tool of Satan” because that is my ultimate belief in regards to Bentley and in accordance to the Word of God. I understand your interest in the Bentley phenomenon – especially since you have a vested interest if it were a true move of God. I simply can’t justify this charlatan as being used by God.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe in Divine healing in accordance with God’s will. I believe that He heals whomever He wants, whenever He wants, in order to accomplish His purpose. I just don’t believe that Bentley is acting in accordance to the will of God.

I’m praying for you and your family, Timothy – and I don’t mean that disrespectfully or flippantly. Like you, I am only seeking God’s truth. I just pray that you stay away from Bentley and his legion.

Thanks for the video reminder of how demonic this guy is, IC. Leave it to our brother bezel333 to make it plain…”angel feathers, material, greater glory cd’s”. We shouldn’t be surprised that Jesus get’s a brief “shout out”.

Sperking Truth, first of all, hank you for praying for my family. It has been a long journey for us. I believe you are sincere. I also appreciate you dialoging with me, even though my views differ from yours. Respectfully, I ask you to weigh this in the balance before you bring any more accusations against Todd Bentley.

May the great Holy Spirit of the only true God, come upon you and guide you into all truth.

I intend this to be my last post on here.

    I Love You.

I hope the holy Ghost opens your eyes to the apostasy taking control of the Church. I hope and pray the scales fall from your eyes regarding Todd Bentley and the other Pimps.

“Prophet” Bill Hamon of Christian International in florida supports and promotes todd Bently and the Lakeland revival on his web site. Bill Hamond thinks from his twisted doctrine that this is the begining of what he calls the “third apostolic reformation” and the “manifest sons of God” Bill Hamon and his cohorts are less well known than bently, but no less decietful. he has thousands of followers under the same delusion. His web site is WWW. CIMN.NET His daugter in-law Jane Hamon is seen on the 700 club on occasions. BEWARE These men are dangerous.
