Well, it appears as though Todd “the tool of Satan”  Bentley is back from his recess - refreshed  and ready to continue deceiving the saints. I’m sure that all of the money and attention that his false revivals are stirring up have nothing to do with his hasty return.

He returned yesterday and the pulpit TV pimpateers of “God TV” are all giddy, that they can continue begging for money with the name “Todd Bentley” included.

Obviously they saw all the money leaving Lakeland and Todd is back, to try and keep the scam afloat. And of course his leaving once he was exposed, made the whole thing more obviously a fraudulent. The media reports still exposing the madness for the fraud that it is are still rolling in.

I’ve been very direct about my scripture-supported belief that the Roman Catholic Church (a/k/a The Cult of Mary) is an apostate church that teaches a different gospel (Galatians 1:6-7). Now one of my favorite expository preachers is expounding on the RCC’s departure from sound doctrine.

I found the following article while visiting the blog Symphony Of Scripture:

“Is Roman Catholicism Biblical?” by John MacArthur

In today’s spirit of ecumenism, many evangelicals have called for the Protestant Church to lay aside its differences with Rome and pursue unity with the Catholic Church. Is that possible? Is Roman Catholicism simply another facet of the body of Christ that should be brought into union with its Protestant counterpart? Is Roman Catholicism simply another Christian denomination?

While there are many errors in the teaching of the Catholic Church (for example its belief in the transubstantiation of the communion wafer and its view of Mary), two rise to the forefront and call for special attention: its denial of the doctrine of sola Scriptura and its denial of the biblical teaching on justification. To put it simply, because the Roman Catholic Church has refused to submit itself to the authority of God’s Word and to embrace the gospel of justification taught in Scripture, it has set itself apart from the true body of Christ. It is a false and deceptive form of Christianity.

Click on the title above to read the article in it’s entirety - it is an excellent read. In my opinion, MacArthur deconstructs the alleged validity of the RCC by exposing:

1. Their lack of adherence to Sola Scriptua by adhering to the bible AND the Apocrypha AND the Magisterium AND Papal pronouncements AND ancient church tradition.
2. Their error in teaching that the Doctrine of Justification is a process instead of an instantaneous action (John 5:24).

MacArthur sums it all up very succinctly:

As long as the Roman Catholic Church continues to assert its own authority and bind its people to “another gospel,” it is the spiritual duty of all true Christians to oppose Roman Catholic doctrine with biblical truth and to call all Catholics to true salvation.

Amen Pastor John, Amen!

When the prophet Elijah made that bold declaration on Mt. Carmel, it was in response to rampant idolatry and the rise of the false prophets of Baal. The effect of that declaration was God’s destruction of 450 false prophets and the unquestionable reminder that He IS God (read the entire 18th chapter of 1 Kings for context).

In an age of rampant apostasy and heresy, we’re faced (yet again) with that same juxtaposition - except some of the “alleged” prophets of God (pastors) are straddling the fence…just in case this “God thing” doesn’t work out.

Nigerian pastor Benjamin Ojobu and his wife, Patience, were arrested in May for allegedly using a human head in rituals for church members. The practice of using severed body parts to ensure prosperity—whether material, emotional, or spiritual—is not uncommon in West Africa. In a region where voodoo is culturally acceptable, nearly all Christians engage in some form of occult practice, according to some experts.

Ummm, ok.

So I guess we should be glad that Creflo, TD, Eddie, Ken & Gloria, and the various others Word of Faith (WOF) peddlers aren’t cutting off heads and arms over here in order to “ensure prosperity”. If they did, then maybe the sheep would avoid them entirely if they physically crippled their followers instead of just crippling their follower’s pocketbooks.

Anyway, the article goes on to say that 90% of those who call themselves “Christians” in West Africa actually practice Christianity AND the occult (again, not much different that the many American Christians who claim to follow Christ but practice all other manner of rituals to “ensure” that He blesses them).

Check out this eye-opening (and hair-raising) quote from the article (my emphasis in bold):

Many of the pastors will preach from the pulpit that this type of thing is wrong, but secretly take part in it at night. There is the mentality, especially in African Initiated Churches, where the prosperity gospel is preached, that you do what you’ve got to do to get ahead. You rely on the powers available to you. You are hopeful that Christ will help, but when he can’t come through on Sunday, you may take out a different insurance policy at night.”

Think that the West Africans are “crazy” - that “that can never happen over here”?

Well, you might want to keep an eye on your local Word of Faith mega-church club and congregation.

As the economy continues to slide into recession, you might see Juanita, Paula, Creflo and the other false teachers trying all manner of occult activity to make sure the hustle continues…

Of course he’ll say that he’s “taking a break”, but the reality is that he’s scooped up the money that the deceived were throwing at his feet and he’s grown tired of defending his transparent false revival that has yet to produce any verifiable evidence of true healing.

Now more and more “mainstream media” are starting to cock an eyebrow at this demonic charlatan:

What will it take for the sheep to see that this guy is a demonic imp - horns sprouting out from his bald tattooed head?

Now that I have your attention, allow me to further expound on my continued righteous indignation and disgust for the false teacher/demon that is Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley.

Bentley has claimed all sorts of “healings” have taken place at his revivals circus sideshows in Florida. He even told Geraldo Rivera that he had “documented proof” (even though no one has been able to confirm his claims). John 8:44 aptly describes Bentley and his charade of religious show - which is fitting (of course) since Bentley is disguising himself as a Christian minister when in fact he is a tool of Satan (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

So Bentley is a liar. Surprise, surprise.

And now, we have direct proof of Bentley’s lies directly from the mouth of a man who came to Bentley for healing in Denton Texas last week:

On July 3, my wife, three children and I attended Bentley’s “impartation service” in Denton, Texas, north of Dallas. Why? We have twin 7-year-old boys, one of whom is autistic (largely nonverbal, still not fully toilet trained, serious developmental delays). Friends urged that we attend the meeting for his miraculous healing.

Call us stubborn, but my wife and I are unimpressed with doctors who see our son’s condition as hopeless. We believe that God still heals and that His means of healing include conventional medicine, alternative medicine, prayer, fasting, love and, yes, miracles. In any case, we haven’t given up on our son’s recovery (we still remember the day when he was developmentally on track). So if God wanted to use Todd Bentley, we were open to it. Please read the article in it’s entirety - and pray that the Lord would remove your anger after seeing how many are continually duped into believing that Bentley is an agent of the Lord. Further in the article, the author begins to see the unraveling (my emphasis in bold):

Finally, around 9 p.m. Bentley began to speak. He devoted much of his message to the visions he has received and the miracles he claims have happened in his ministry. Then, almost as an afterthought, he spent a few minutes preaching from the Bible (John 5). In fact, he admitted that he was having us open the Bible simply so that it couldn’t be said that he didn’t preach from the Bible. So much for reverencing the Scriptures.

So this demon decides to “preach” about Jesus’ healing ministry (John 5)? Fortunately, his disdain AND disinterest for the Word of God is further exposing him as an enemy of God.

After preaching, Bentley took the offering. During the offering he asked “How much anointing do you want to receive?” Thus he linked the blessing we should receive with the amount of money we gave.

Yup…further solidifying Bentley’s newly minted degenerate pulpit pimp status to go hand-in-hand with his demonic allegiance and violent parlor tricks. Let’s not forget the classic pulpit pimp mantra: “you gotta pay to play!”

I don’t want to take anything away from this heartbreaking story, so please read it in it’s entirety. After you finish reading, remember that this demonic imp is parading himself around the world as a “faith healer” when in fact he is a bonafide tool of Satan.

Don’t even go to this garbage show out of some odd sense of curiosity. Just avoid this demonic impartation altogether. Cling to the faithful Word of God through Jesus Christ and pray for those who are falling into delusion over this demonic garbage:

“Stop slandering God’s leaders!”

That’s the typical edict that I get on average. Of course, some admonitions are a bit more…descriptive, but the message is still the same: “God said ‘touch not my anointed’, so get your mouth off the man of God!”.

My brother Independent Conservative edited an article written by GaryV on his site this past February that shines more light on the twisting of scripture used to protect pimps:

Those who feel the call to be watchmen on the wall during this time of apostasy have heard this phrase repeated ad nauseum, by those who seek to defend their favorite “ministers” against the claims of Scripture. In fact, along with “Judge Not”, it’s probably among the most frequently used (though commonly misunderstood) texts in the entire Bible. Have any of them ever actually read the verse in question??

Why is it that those of us who blog God’s truth to expose deceit are always attacked, yet those who KNOWINGLY AND WILLFULLY distort, butcher, and assault God’s Word for selfish gain get protection?

These pimps rail against their detractors (i.e. mature bible reading Christians who dare take God’s Word over theirs), yet they (and their followers) get thin-skinned when the light of truth is shined on them. I pray that more sheep learn to defend the faith more than they defend their resident wolf, viper, false teacher, pulpit pimp, apostate, and heretic. I think those names sum it all up quite nicely.

So, why do I “call people names”? Simply because the names that I use aptly describe the pimps, heretics and apostates that stalk the “pulpit” today. I’m not “bitter” or “church hurt” - I’m just a former sheep of two skilled pimps (one Alpha Pimp, and one wanna be pimp) who decided to read my bible for myself and expose the doctrinal error that permeates Christ’s church today.

Since slander is defined as “a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report”, I clearly DON’T engage in slander when I provide links to videos and text of the pimps own words for validation.

The Apostle Peter called people “names” when he exposed them for their deceitful works against the Gospel (2 Peter 2 NASB) Even Jesus used “harsh language and tone” when calling out the Pharisee’s and corrupt religious leaders of the day (Matthew 23 NASB).

Now, I’m not comparing myself to Peter or Jesus…not in the least. I am, however, comfortable that I am operating in biblical order with sound precedence - and sound biblical doctrine.

So, I’ll keep “calling people names” and calling out the wolves, vipers, apostates, pimps, heretics, false teachers and their ilk until they simply go away.

This is supposed to indicate a high degree of spirituality. But in sober fact it indicates no such thing. It may indeed be evidence of the absence of the Holy Spirit. - AW Tozer

The quote above from noted theologian AW Tozer succinctly describes the unfortunate posture of Christianity today. In the Apostle John’s epistle recalling the fundamentals of our faith (or calling for a return to the basics of Christianity), he wrote:

1^(A)Beloved, do not believe every ^(B)spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because ^(C)many false prophets have gone out into the world.

 2By this you know the Spirit of God: ^(D)every spirit that ^(E)confesses that ^(F)Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;

Unfortunately, many Christians (and those who erroneously think that they are Christians) simply apply the “if it makes me tingle, then it must be the Holy Spirit” model of interpretation when dealing with these demonic charlatans and their revivals see-through shows.

My post yesterday on Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley pretty much summed up my assessment of Bentley’s ascension from demonic imp to full blown tool of Satan/pulpit pimp. I (along with the entire Christian blogosphere that actually reads and believes the bible) have exposed Todd “the tool of Satan” for some time now, so if you choose to follow him at this point then it is with full knowledge that he IS NOT operating under the authority of the Holy Spirit.

Yet, it’s still good to see more sound biblical study used to refute Todd “the tool of Satan” for those of you who may still be on the fence. Pastor S.E. Ray over at Eternal Path for Seekers of Truth wrote an excellent in-depth article on Bentley - restating some of the fact we’ve already discovered, as well as exposing other interesting facts about “the tool”:

As background information, Todd Bentley is relatively a new Christian with no formal training or experience in the exposition of scripture. His history which includes drugs, criminal activities and he belonged to a sexual molestation activist ring which is well documented and admitted by Todd. Christians realize that a soul can be saved from these things, however he personally claims that he was demon possessed after having been born-again, which poses a problem considering his self-acclaimed position.

So, if you STILL choose to believe a tattooed (after he was saved), demon possessed (afterhe was saved), child molester who assaults people who want his “anointing” demonic touch and scares children who DON”T WANT him to touch them, then there’s nothing more to be said to you. 

Like I said…TODD “THE TOOL OF SATAN” BENTLEY IS DEMONIC!

Our hope can ONLY be found in God through Jesus Christ - and his unchanging Word.

Todd Bentley’s revival in Lakeland draws 400,000 and counting

On the 84th night of the revival, the air was charged with collective energy and the floor shook from pounding feet. A spine-tingling roar rose from the crowd. They were calling to God for oil and fire. Eight thousand people filled the tent. They had come from all around the world, bringing walkers and wheelchairs and chronic pain. They were here for the Florida Outpouring in Lakeland, the hottest thing going in religion these days, and some wore T-shirts that said It’s Hell Without Jesus.

Above them stood their spiritual leader: Todd Bentley, 32, a stout, balding Canadian with flames tattooed on the back of his neck. He was known to boast about healing through violence. He had been videotaped telling stories about kicking a woman in the face, slamming a crippled woman’s legs against the stage and knocking out a man’s tooth. This was done, he claimed, on behalf of the Holy Spirit.

“Kaboom-boom!” he shrieked. “God’s been pouring the gas. And then the match. KABOOM-BOOM!”

Bentley paced the stage as he spoke, head sometimes jiggling like a bobblehead doll. He said his staff was working overtime on a catalog of healings and resurrections, verified by X-ray and blood test.

“The devil is shaking in his boots!” he bellowed, and whatever he said after that was lost in the clamoring of the crowd. (click here for the entire article)

So now God is pouring out “oil and fire”? Yeah, that’s biblical And Bentley outta know what the devil is doing - he works for him! “Jiggling like a bobblehead doll”…this guy is clearly out of his ever-loving mind!

Since Todd “the tool of Satan” Bentley is now an OFFICIAL pulpit pimp as well as demonic minion, he reminds the silly sheep that they have to “pay to play”:

Get out your credit cards, he said. Write a check. Click on the blue button on the Web site. “You reap what you sow,” he said. “Generosity and the anointing go hand in hand.”

And we keep hearing more and more about the lunacy of this demonic spectacle:

Bentley grinned, hands outstretched, head still bobbing, as another pastor anointed him with oil, special revival oil FedExed from Africa, and slew him in the spirit so he fell to the stage.

Good grief!

Saints, PLEASE PRAY for Christ’s church. Pray that the REAL sheep stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEMONIC FOOL, and that the goats continue to identify themselves so that we don’t rely on them when the fight REALLY breaks out.

Continue to read the words of our Lord in the 24th chapter of Matthew so that you will not be caught unaware.

When Carlton “The Heretic” Pearson was shunned by (almost) the entire Christian community when he unveiled his new found “revelation of inclusion” that you don’t have to accept Jesus Christ in order to gain access to Heaven, many thought he’d just find a corner and a few folks to spew his heresy to.

Well, old Carlton is climbing back up the mountain of “Pentecostalism” and moving closer and closer to his former popularity. Since the church is in the early stage of it’s free fall into total and complete apostasy, Carlton the Heretic is finding welcome audiences around the world who are just eating his garbage up (unrepentant homosexuals, Atheists, Unitarians, Universalists, Ecumenists, and all other manner of God’s enemies).

The Church will host a small Pentecostal-style congregation.

Bishop Carlton Pearson’s New Dimensions church will begin meeting Sunday at All Souls Unitarian Church, bringing together a small black Pentecostal-style congregation and a large white congregation with a staid, intellectual style of worship. “It is truly historic. Nothing quite like this has ever happened before,” All Souls senior minister Marlin Lavanhar told his congregation last Sunday morning.

“And it comes at a time when it seems like our entire nation is entering a new era” . . . when “the next president of the United States may very well be African-American,” he said.

All Souls “is opening its doors, and its hearts, to a black Pentecostal preacher who has spent 25 years trying to cast demons out of this place,” he said.

“Something new is trying to burst forth in human consciousness right here in America, and right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a new day, when Unitarians and Pentecostals, young and old, black and white, gay and straight, Democrat and Republican can all find themselves sharing a church and caring for one another and each other’s children — that’s the beloved community. That’s creating the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven,” he said in his Sunday sermon. (click here to read the entire article)

The article goes on to talk about Carlton the Heretic’s affiliation with the United Church of Christ - Jeremiah Wright’s denomination:

Despite their external differences, All Souls and New Dimensions are both liberal and progressive churches. Pearson and his church last year affiliated with the United Church of Christ, one of America’s most liberal denominations, and among the first to openly embrace gay and lesbian members and leaders.

So we can now see further confirmation of the UCC’s allegiance to heresy and false doctrine as well (especially since Wright - a UCC preacher - and his church Trinity UCC espouse the wicked false gospel of Black Liberation Theology).

Another nugget from the article:

“Both churches reflect inclusion consciousness,” Pearson said.

Lavanhar said religion should be “inclusive, liberating. That’s the good news.”

He noted that while Oral Roberts and former All Souls senior minister John Wolf often were sharply at odds, he and Pearson, representing the next generation in their respective traditions, are not.

“There’s a new trend in America, a new openness.”

So there you have it, Carlton the Heretic is taken advantage of the ignorance of the church by pushing his heretical garbage and calling it “a new trend in America, a new openess”.

While Carlton the Heretic and other enemies of God want us to think this “new consciousness” is a new phenomenon sweeping across America, thank God through Jesus Christ that the Apostle Paul warned us about this thousands of years ago:

Please please please stay away from ANYONE who claims that there are multiple paths to Heaven apart from Jesus Christ when HE HIMSELF clearly stated the contrary (John 14:6).

Yesterday, I introduced you to a Mississippi based minister by the name of Justin Peters who conducts a seminar exposing and debunking the cancerous WOF movement. Thankfully, Justin decided to take a closer look at yet another ravenous wolf stalking the revival tent today - the satanic tool that is Todd Bentley.

Justin attended Bentley’s “Lakeland Revival” earlier this month to witness the claims of “healing” first hand, and decided to contact seven people who claimed to be healed as a result of this meeting. He shared his findings with Todd Friel from the Way of the Master radio program.

Imagine my surprise when learning that none of the “healings” that Justin investigated could be confirmed after the “revival”

Once again, I admonish any TRUE believer in the Lord Jesus Christ to STAY AWAY FROM THE DEMONIC TODD BENTLEY. 

In taking the time this week to shed more light on the inclusion/ecumenical/universalism heresy that Earl “The Abomination” Paulk and his family have adopted, I can’t ignore one of the original false teachers who pushes this garbage here in the metro-Atlanta area…Dr. Barbara L. King.

Barbara King, a self-avowed “new thought” teacher, is the Founder and “Spiritual Leader” of the Hillside International Truth Center in Atlanta. Wikipedia describes the new thought movement as:

a loosely allied group of organizations, authors, philosophers, and individuals who share a set of metaphysical beliefs concerning healing, life force, Creative Visualization, and personal power.

The new thought movement has a foundational belief in diversity, tolerance, and unity. However (as with most all ecumenical pursuits), diversity, tolerance, and unity is not extended to those of us who claim the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as the ONLY means of access to salvation and eternal relationship with God our Father.

Take a look at Hillside Heretical’s “symbol”:

And just in case you’re wondering, according to Hillside Heretical: the spiritual faculty for June is “imagination”, the physical center for June is “the center of the forehead” (the “third eye”, if you will), and the color is light blue.

And you can go to Hillside Heretical’s website to learn what the meaning of their symbol is (it’s on the first page of the site - scroll down). If they’re a “Christian Church”, then why not use the cross as their symbol (or at least some super funky hip version of the cross that even the seeker sensitive’s use)?

Barb claims that the Hillside Heretical Center is a Christian church, yet she’s an avowed believer in metaphysical beliefs? As a “Christian minister”, does she give any credence to Colossians 2:6-8 (my emphasis in bold):

 6Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

 7having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.

At this point it shouldn’t surprise you to know that Carlton “The Heretic” Pearson has “blessed” Barb and Hillside Heretical with his presence on several occasions this year- to speak on…you guessed it, “inclusionism” (i.e. good people can go to heaven because they’re good - and they don’t need to repent and accept God’s gift of salvation through His Son).

You can visit Hillside Heretical’s website to learn more about their new thought views - and how they attempt to align with sound biblical doctrine, but I wanted to highlight an event that Barb is having over at Hillside Heretical this coming Sunday [6/22/08] - “The Interfaith/Intercultural Service”.

Let’s take a closer look at the “communities” that have been invited to participate in this event:

• Hebrew - no belief in the deity of Jesus Christ
• Islamic - rejects the divinity of Jesus Christ
• Unitarian Universalists- a variable “hodge podge” of world religions, rejects the divinity of Jesus Christ
• Zen Buddhists- believe in “attaining enlightenment through meditation” and rejects all manner of scriptural study, religious rites, and devotion (oh, and they deny the divinity of Jesus Christ)
•  New Thought Metaphysical - enough said already
• Roman Catholics - you already know how I feel about the RCC. Even though they believe in the divinity of Christ, they still fit right in with this bunch.

So there you have it - a virtual soup of unity, universalism, moral relativism, inclusion, love, heresy, apostasy, and more - all under the guise of an extended interpretation of God through Jesus Christ.

Paul already warned the Athenian philosophers of his day about trying to philosophically understand God without Jesus Christ (Acts 17:10-34 NASB). Barb and the folks at Hillside Heretical (and even Club Heretic) had better pay close attention to a particularly ominous pronouncement in Paul’s admonition on Mars Hill:

29“Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man.

30“Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent,

31because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”

Paul was right. The bible is right. PERIOD.

If you subscribe to the teaching of Barb and Hillside Heretical, you need to repent and return to your First Love, flee this church club, and don’t look back.

God will not continue to ignore this foolishness…

OK, so yesterday I scratched the surface with a post about what’s new with Earl Paulk’s neph-son Donnie Earl (D.E.) Paulk here in suburban Atlanta.  Looking further into the happenings at Club Heretic (Cathedral at Chapel Hill), I got more insight into what’s going on in the mind of Donnie Earl.

It appears as though Unc-dad Earl brought heretic Carlton Pearson into Club Heretic some time ago, but the Club didn’t push Carlton away when he fell off the deep end with his hair-brained “inclusion” philosophy (and I use the word “philosophy” purposely). Truth be told, they were too busy trying to keep old man Earl in line, so they chose their battles, I guess.  Some even speculate that Donnie Earl is seeking to include heretic Carlton on his leadership team at Club Heretic.

If you still think that Carlton Pearson has any shred of credibility with the bile that flows from his mouth, then you need to stop reading this post right now and repent before the Lord!

I’d like to draw your attention to Unc-son Donnie Earl’s “suggested reading & movie viewing list” for the few sheep who remain at Club Heretic. Donnie Earl calls them “tools for the awakening”. Awakening from what - sound biblical doctrine? What insight can you gain from reading books written by Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Carlton “the Heretic” Pearson - and watching movies like “Powder” and “Chocolate”?

Also, while reading the belief statement for Club Heretic, I found a few oddities (my emphasis in bold):

We are a group of truth seekers who:

• perceive Christ cannot be, and will not be, restricted to Christianity…
• affirm Christ in all of His creation…
• celebrate truth as a journey, not a destination…
• assert the Creator cannot be defined, or confined, by the creation…
• believe the Word of God, the Christ, is perfect, infallible, inerrant…
• understand the fallible cannot accurately scribe the infallible…
• admit the errant finite mind cannot perfectly describe the Inerrant Infinite Mind…
• embrace truth as a knowing, not a known…profess faith is a hearing, not a heard…
• accept God has reconciled the world to Himself through Christ…
• endeavor to convince the world of God’s love, not convert the world to Christianity…

How can you “believe the Word of God…is perfect, infallible, inerrant” and STILL say that Christianity can’t be “confined to Christians”? Since when was the pastors job description edited to “convince the world of God’s love”…isn’t he supposed to preach the Word of liberation from sin through Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 4:2 NASB).

But wait, there’s more…take a look at Donnie Earl’s affection for “inclusion”:

INCLUSION proclaims:

• Christ loves and includes ALL of His creation in His finished work of REDEMPTION and RECONCILIATION!  (II Corinthians 5:18-19)
• ALL THINGS flowed from the Christ (John 1) and that ALL THINGS will flow back to the Christ!  (Ephesians 1:10)
• An OMNISCIENT Creator was neither shocked nor shaken by the creation’s sin - “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world…” [Revelation 13:8]
• When Christ arrived in time at Calvary’s cross He had already agreed in eternity to its redemption ages prior - His earthly life, death, crucifixion and resurrection were merely time’s rerun of eternity’s sitcom!
• There was an INSURANCE POLICY in plan in place and in full (paid for) before it was ever needed!  (Romans 8:28-39 / Ephesians 1:4-11)
• The ENEMY MIND comes in an effort to deny that we have a policy, to refute that we have a claim and to question if the policy is paid up to date!  (Revelation 12:10)
• Man’s FAITHLESSNESS cannot defeat God’s FAITHFULNESS!  (Romans 3:3-4)
• Faith does not dispel fear… LOVE DISPELS FEAR!  [I John 4:10, 18]
• When the MIND can conceive of the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE of God then the HEART will receive the FAITH it so desperately seeks to find!  (Philippians 2:10-11)
• When LOVE is the agenda… FAITH will be the result!

Is there anything written above that affirms (as the bible says) that salvation can only be found through belief and acceptance in Jesus Christ? And what the heck does “when love is the agenda, faith will be the result” mean?

The scriptures listed above are not in error - but they aren’t exposed in their proper context (or with the proper intention, quite frankly, since Donnie Earl is using them to bolster his heretical “inclusion” plea). Rather than retype content that I’ve presented before, let’s take a closer look at what God’s Word says about salvation and reconciliation back to him through the shed Blood of His Begotten Son.

Either God lied when He gave His only Son as the propitiation for our sin debt (John 3:16) - which we KNOW is false because can God CANNOT LIE (Numbers 23:19) - or Donnie Earl and Carlton the Heretic are liars when they claim that ANYBODY can go to Heaven EVEN IF THEY DON’T ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST & REPENT OF THEIR SINS.

Now THAT sounds more plausible…

I didn’t mistype the title above.

Pastor Donnie Earl (D.E.) Paulk is “Archbishop” Earl Paulk’s nephew (because D.E.’s mom is Earl’s sister-in-law) AND Earl’s son (because Earl slept with his brothers wife).

I don’t have the time (or the stomach, frankly) to recount all manner of abominations, sin, etc. that emanates from the Paulk family, so feel free to see Independent Conservative’s archives of Earl “The Abomination” Paulk - and MSNBC’s take on D.E.’s paternity.

D.E. took over his Unc-dad’s church (The Cathedral at Chapel Hill) a few summers ago - long after tens of thousands of former worshipers fled the place in horror. The church is a shell of it’s former self, can barely cover their expenses with the few that remain, and has become a joke - even among the other heretics and apostates that inhabit the metro-Atlanta area.

So, how do you infuse more “life” (and cash) into a failing ministry? Well, you adopt the heresy of inclusion! That way, you can throw the doors of the church open to every unrepentant homosexual, atheist, and “christians” who believe that Jesus isn’t the only way to Heaven.

Let me be clear - if you “come to God” yet refuse to let go of every sin that weighs you down, then you are not a Christian. If you keep company with those who don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the propitiation of our sin debt, and without Him we can’t have a relationship with God the Father, then you are aiding and abetting in heresy.

Anyway, D.E. is also the head of a group he calls “Pro Love”, and their website says (my emphasis in bold):

Pro-Love is an inclusive initiative purposed to bring people of all faiths, cultures and backgrounds together. The Pro-Love Organization hosts a yearly march in the city of Atlanta that unites: Jew and Muslim, Gay and Straight, Atheist and Christian, and all others…We believe the Pro-Love Movement is part of the continuation of Dr. King’s dream.

“Inclusive” is a code word for compromise. The inclusive movement is designed to make everyone feel “comfortable” about the path they choose, and that God (or the Universe, or any other ethereal name you want to ascribe) loves no matter what, and that we’ll all end up in Heaven.

The inclusive/ecumenical crowd is happy to include anybody - unless you claim that the Lord Jesus Christ is THE ONLY WAY of salvation (John 14:6).

D.E. is also running around with Carlton Pearson, the affirmed heretic who claims that you’ll go to Heaven if you’re a good person - you don’t need to believe all of that “Jesus is the only way” stuff. Heretic Carlton is going to be at D.E.’s church July 13th and August 10th to help ensure that they slide further into irrelevance.

And the final “nail in the coffin” is D.E.’s endorsement of the wicked teacher Ekhart Tolle. D.E. is teaching a 10-part sermon on Tolle’s garbage - and he even links from the church’s website to Oprah’s site so members can sign up for the classes!

Whew! I guess we shouldn’t be surprised at old D.E.’s slide - he is a Paulk, right?

This is even more reason to avoid being preached to by any Paulk, and to sound the alarm to the few folks left in that God-forsaken place. Paul reminds us to avoid any gospel that is contrary to the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

6I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting ^(A)Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a ^(B)different gospel;

 7which is really not another; only there are some who are ^(C)disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

 8But even if we, or ^(D)an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be ^(E)accursed!

 9As we ^(F)have said before, so I say again now, ^(G)if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be ^(H)accursed!

 10For am I now ^(I)seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a ^(J)bond-servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:6-10)

D.E. better stop going along with this inclusion heresy and latching on to those who profess to be “enlightened teachers of the day” - or he may end up on the other side of Paul’s pronouncement…

“Why don’t you just roll up in a ball and die? All you do is complain about other Christians. That’s none of your business - God will take care of them”.

The quote above is typical of the daily “colorful” email that I and other bloggers get (along with emails of encouragement from those who fled false doctrine - and death threats from those who love their pimps and his lies). This is not a paid gig, or a hobby. This blog only exists to shine the light of truth on the enemies of our Sovereign God.

I’ll stop blogging for biblical truth when the pimps, apostates, heretics, and all manner of antichrist stop doing what they’re doing.

I got an email from our brother Steve (aka youtubber hetgow) notifying me of his latest video. Steve was a follower of the cult Fellowship of the Martyrs, a fringe “Christian” commune in Missouri - before he repented before the Lord and started exposing the lies he learned while in that group. For background information, visit this link where our brother Independent Conservative detailed the activities of this cult recently.

Steve even released a video on youtube publicly apologizing to anyone that he hurt as a result of his submission to the false teachers of that cult. That brother went through a lot, and it was only through God’s grace that he saw the truth, repented before the Lord, fled that wickedness, and warns others. In addition to apostasy and heresy, allegedly there were other illegal activities going on in that cult (some of which are being investigated by local authorities).

Steve released the following video exposing FOTM’s practice of ”multiple spiritual marriages” - and clearly explaining how to measure everything that you hear against God’s Word:

In the video, Steve said that he “followed blindly” the teachings of this cult that infuses elements of biblical truth with their sinful fleshy theology. I can attest to how dangerous this is - and anyone who has fled a pulpit pimp can do the same. Once you stop seeking the Word of God for direction and start seeking man, then you’ll find yourself in a difficult place (Jeremiah 17:5-6).

Steve biblically details how to expose false teaching and explains in the video’s notes:

I promoted FellowshipoftheMartyrs.com (specifically the teachings of Doug Perry & Chris Evans) without testing what they taught (both public & private teachings) against the whole counsel of God (the bible). My sin resulted in much pain for many of people.

Please watch the video and measure everything against the Word of God… EVERYTHING! Again please forgive me.

Let this be a warning to all of you who submit to men (and women) who claim to “speak for God”. You better stop reverencing these false teachers, pimps, hustlers, and wannabe’s more than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God’s Holy Word, and start testing the spirit by the Spirit (1 John 4:1-3).

Remember Paul’s admonition in Romans 16:17-18:

17Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances ^(A)contrary to the teaching which you learned, and ^(B)turn away from them.

 18For such men are ^(C)slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of ^(D)their own appetites; and by their ^(E)smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.

It appears as though Eddie Long is doing what many (including his detractors) thought would NEVER happen…bend to the will of the homosexual lobby.

I must admit that I’m saddened by this apparent revelation. Sure, I have theological disagreements with Eddie Long because of his allegiance to the false prosperity gospel, his daft ability to twist scripture like an old pro, and his spawning of clones across the country.

Despite all of this, Eddie still stood firmly on the Word of God in reiterating that homosexuality is a sin that God will not ignore. He even led a march through downtown Atlanta in 2004 in support of heterosexual marriage.

Now, it appears that Eddie is bowing to pressure from the pro-gay lobby, has met the group Soulforce (a “gay christian” organization), and told Soulforce that there are “things about homosexuality that he needs to learn”.

So what is it that Eddie doesn’t “understand” about homosexuality? He’s been preaching against it all of his pastoral life, and he’s questioning scripture’s position regarding the subject now?

Our brother Pastor Foster over at Gay Christian Movement Watch first alerted us of this impending attempt of Soulforce to “dialogue” with Eddie last week (i.e. get him to see their point of view) (click here, here, here, and here for more details), and our brother Independent Conservative posted about it earlier this week as well.

You can see pictures of Soulforce’s visit with Eddie and his staff here, and you can read the article in a pro-gay newspaper that details the visit. Here’s an interesting quote from the article:

The meeting ended with Soulforce members offering to lead workshops at New Birth on human sexuality. Renee said the church is considering its options.

Homosexuality is a sin, and no “workshop on human sexuality” will change that fact. The Soulforce coalition seemed pretty happy to be at Club New Birth, but the CNB staff seemed elated for the opportunity to meet with them.

Unless this meeting was called to preach salvation and repentance from homosexual sin, it should’ve never been held (1 Corinthians 5). These Soulforce members have heard the truth, REJECTED IT, and “tweaked it” to fit THEIR AGENDA.

Let me be CRYSTAL CLEAR - God loves us even in our mess - and in turn, our love for Him and His truth means we must leave our mess behind. We are filthy rags, deserving eternal damnation apart from the redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ and the turning away from our flesh. This is an uncompromisable point. We can’t honestly serve a sinless Savior while holding onto the things that He hates!

I am not a “gay basher”, a homophobe, a “hater” or any other pejorative that will probably be hurled my way. I’m not perfect, nor will I try to reason the varying degrees of “sin”. I understand that many have been hurt through sexual molestation, and confused regarding same-sex attraction, etc. Homosexuality is a sin - and like every other unrepentant sin, it’s consequence is eternal separation from the Father. I stand on the Word of God, specifically:

• Genesis 19:1-13
• Leviticus 18:22
• Romans 1:24-27
• 1 Corinthians 6:9
• And much more…

Is there deliverance from homosexuality? ABSOLUTELY - 1 Corinthians 6:11 and 2 Corinthians 5:17 specifically speaks of deliverance over ANY SIN through salvation and faith in Jesus Christ.

Further, EVERY CHRISTIAN will struggle against sin - including sins of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21). What separates us from the world, however, is that we always repent and turn back to God. You can’t be “gay” and call yourself a true Christian if you continue in homosexual sin - remember, 1 Corinthians 6:11 Paul said “you were (fill in the blank)”…meaning before sanctification through the Blood of Jesus.

You’re either “ex-gay” or an “ex-Christian”.

The truth hurts, and it could be considered “offensive” to anyone that it speaks against - BUT THAT DOES NOT NEGATE IT’S MERIT.

The bottom line is this - Eddie Long has just (apparently) lost the firm footing he had on scripture as it relates to this particular sin.

Should he have attempted to evangelize the Gospel truth to sinners? YES! Should he have entertained an audience of unrepentant sinners (and their partners) in an attempt to assuage scripture for their comfort? ABSOLUTELY NOT! 

To all of the Eddie Long sympathizers that ignore EVERYTHING else he’s ever done, can you overlook this too?

In accordance to 2 John 1:10-11, I WILL NOTentertain comments from Soulforce sympathizers, anyone who wishes to argue about being “born gay”, or anyone attempting to defend this meeting. 

It is what it is - if you disagree, then visit a blog that supports your assertions - I will stand on the uncompromised, immutable, irrefutable Word of God.
