OK Andrew - here's my attempt at a reply to your comments.

Regarding any specific questions/concerns you have regarding Justin's "theology" and his ministry, I encourage you to contact him directly. He's a down to earth person, so I presume he'll be happy to clarify his statements further.

I don't think that anyone is ignoring "Satan's role" in the plight of man today. Adam opened the door when man fell into sin, and Satan is simply playing his part. For the most part, the sheep fall victim to the heretical Word of Faith "gospel" because it satisfies the lust and greed of the flesh by purporting that we can command God to bless us with money and health because we tell Him to do it - and any non-reaction to our demands is a result of our "lack of faith".
Anything that ever happens to us is a result of the sovereign Will of God (Romans 8:28-29).

Satan has already been judged by God and his final end is already prescribed (Revelation 20:10). Satan is not "knowingly/willingly" submitting to God's will because he is a deceiver that rejects all manner of authority. It is God's sovereign will that permits him to do only so much, according to God's plan.

Regarding bad things happening to good people (which is what I paraphrase the rest of your comment pertaining to), again, everything that happens does so at the Will of God. Only He knows why these things happen - but Romans 8:28 reminds us that there is an ultimate purpose in everything. I don't know why God allows babies to be killed in the womb everyday, for terrorist to succeed around the world on so many levels, why people do all manner of evil to one another.

But I also don't know why God didn't kill me when I was head-deep in my sin, why he continues to allow me to draw breath even though I am a wretched sinner deservig death apart from the Redeeming Blood of Christ, why He allows my mouth to give Him praise and glory - no matter what I do or go through.

The bottom line is that God is good. Period.

Sorry if that's not theologically substantive enough, but that's all I have for you.

Very good, I agree with Justin on many points.
The “God being kicked out of His creation” I agree- not in the Bible.
“Adam, being an exact duplicate of God” – the way Justin has it put across, I agree, not in the Bible.
“Jesus keeping secrets from the Father” - the way Justin has it put across in this small clip, I agree, not in the Bible. (Although I’m not convinced Copeland meant it as Justin said [If we all be honest here!])
To say that if you are not Healed you are not saved – I agree, not biblical. It implies that Jesus only heals Christians and that is unbiblical also.
As for the whole controlling the weather example: didn’t Jesus say that all those who BELIEVE, would be able to do the things that he did?
That SDJ doctrine – I agree, not in the Bible

“The premise that it is always Gods will that we be Healed leaves only one conclusion – That it’s the Fault of the Sick Person. – Because by Definition it can’t be Gods Fault.”
Not entirely True……
For Justin, who (at least) comes across as a bible scholar and forgets about the role of the Satan to Rob, kill and destroy, in such a public presentation is notable.
To state so boldly –“the fault must always lie squarely at the feet of the believer” reveals much about his theology. We have an adversary, who prowls around like as roaring lion…… If the Satan can get us to forget about Him – then how can we then continue the ministry of Jesus, which included undoing the works of the Devil – if we don’t even recognize his work in our lives and those around us?
If everything can only happen with Gods permission (Which Justin seems to say), then why will Satan be Judged - if he can only be obedient to Gods will?
Further more: Is it God who gives/ allows an 8 year old boy to die of a brain tumor?
If we, being evil know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more a GOOD God will give to them that ask.
And if we being evil would send a father to Prison for child abuse if he inflicted his Child with sickness or injury, What kind of theology says its an infinitely GOOD GOD who does that to His Children…… Are we implying that evil man is more Just than the God of Justice?
Just some reasonable Questions that would appreciate some reasonable – in context, scriptural answers.
Much love
Andrew.

ST,
All I can say is WOW. Now I know why the pimps and club owners hate seminaries and mainline doctrines. They want you to subscribe to this heresy whole heartedly! The Word of Faith doctrine is nothing more than metaphysical cultic behavior. The message must get out about this delivering seminar. The club goers have got to get this Word of Truth!
