I'm no supporter or critic of Summit/Eagle's Nest - I live in suburban Atlanta, GA and I've never attended or heard of this church. <b>The purpose of this post was to illustrate how a pulpit pimp was being called on the carpet by a former member of his congregation</b>. While Rick Godwin (in my opinion) is a pulpit pimp who extorts his congregation, I'm tired of being on the edges of this soap opera - and I will not allow this blog to be a tool for or against this church any longer. I’m no supporter or critic of Summit/Eagle’s Nest – I live in suburban Atlanta, GA and I’ve never attended or heard of this church. The purpose of this post was to illustrate how a pulpit pimp was being called on the carpet by a former member of his congregation.

For the most part, I really don't care about any of the personal issues that Rick Godwin is dealing with, or the overall state of your church. You're obviously a sympathizer so you've got a "dog in the fight". I don't - and I could care less about what else happens there. Keep on talking brothers and sisters it only helps. He has like the best lawyer in this field, Gary Richardson, that dude is famous. ya, I read that story about Shannon Godwin and his ex sister in law. It is really sucky what he did to Shannon. But according to Shannon, it wasn't Rick Godwin as much as Cindy Godwin. I really liked this Godwin dude, he had some good sermons but I won't listen to him now! It's clear he preaches that word of faith nonsense!! It's like spiritual a crap shoot......The dude gives me the creeps!
