I am very deliberate about adding resources to my blogroll, frankly because I don’t want to be associated with just anybodyout there with a “Christian blog”. There are a number of excellent Christian blogs that I read on a daily basis, and you’ll see them added to the blogroll as the Lord wills in the future.
One of those blogs is “Tithe Stewardship & Church Tithing”.
Our brother Jarod Bartholomew is laboring over there trying to help the sheep gain a deeper understanding of the law of tithing (that we are no longer under), and grace giving (true giving as outlined in 2 Corinthians 9:6-9).
Anyway, read Jarod’s testimony. Don’t stop giving as a form of punishment or because you’ve been hurt by a pulpit pimp. Instead, give as the Lord leads because it is His command that we care for one another – and that we advance the spreading of the Gospel.
Thanks for the add to your blogroll, and the good word. There are many blogs that i come to throughout the week that refresh, and strengthen me and one of them is your blog. keep up the good word. I hope more come to an understanding of our responsibility to the true gospel.
